Restrictions
To play Guild Wars in the Electronic Sports League (ESL) your need to meet the following requirements:
» Your team has at least 4 players who have entered their character name as gameaccount (you can add up to six different character names!)
» Your team needs to have at least one contact possibility (ICQ or IRC) entered.
» Your team needs to have a guild hall which name is related to the name of the ESL team account.
How do you get a guild hall?
In order to get a guild hall you need a Celestial Sigil which can be bought from a sigil-trader or won in the "Hall of Heroes".
The normal modus for Guild Wars matches in the ESL is Best of Three. This means that the first team to win 2 maps, wins the match.
» Each team picks one map. The team on the left side of the matchsheet starts to challenge.
» (Cup/Premiership) The third map (decider) for each round will be appointed by the Admins in advance.
4on4:
» In a 4on4 match a team must consists of 4 players (same guild in ESL and ingame) and 4 NPCs (max. 2 heroes).
Have a look at the Rulebook for further information.
Matchmedia
After the match you are obliged to upload screenshots showing the result. The winner and the loser have to upload one screenshot per round which has to show the player names and the Win/Loss message.
