To honour the fourth birthday of Guild Wars, we we decided to organize another 1on1 Cup... with great prices! And this time there won't be any restrictions concerning the classes. It's pure skill and will you have to bring if you want to win - and winning is definitely worth the efforts.

Before the Beginners Cup started we sent out thousands of newsletters with trial keys for all MMORPG players to test Guild Wars and enjoy the first 1on1 cup. But we still have some keys left and don't want to keep them. Now every ESL player has the chance to get a key and play Guild Wars for 10 hours within two weeks!

The registration for our first Guild Wars ESL Amateur Series was openend in December, finally we fire the starting shot. We look forward to 20 guilds, which meet the challenge and hope once again for many exciting and thrilling battles. We wish all participants much success and lots of fun!

Yesterday evening the final of our first Guild Wars 1on1 Beginners Cup took place. We are glad to congratulate the 3 best players for their excellent performance and to present them their deserved prizes. The winner of the cup is sin, who defeated McBob in an exciting Mesmer-duel.
