GTA-SA: Country Championship 2012 - The beginning
We will now present you the current National Teams that are highly likely to mark presence on this Country Championship 2012.
There are still 3 slots available for 3 nations to sign-up, so hurry up because the deadline ends at 20th July!

We will let you know about the rules and details of this Country Championship in the next news.

Informations

This Country Championship will be composed of 16 national teams.
These 16 teams will be randomly split in 4 groups and will have to fight their way up on the groups phase.
The first 2 teams of each group will pass on the playoffs and fight their way to the final.

How can you become a Team Captain?

Please see how your application should look like:

  • Give us a list of players that are ready to play for your country.


    • Requirements for Team Captains

    At least 16 years old

    Clean ESL history

    No flamer, no penalty points for offense(s)

    All players, including the team captain, have to be residents of the country they would like to represent and in addition they need to have a valid citizenship which the ESL reserves to approve by requesting personal ID card copies at any time, if needed.

    The deadline is the 20th of July 2012 12:00 CEST.


    Country Championship 2012 - Prizes


    3 months premium for the Winning Team!
    2 months premium for 2nd place.
    1 month premium for 3rd place.

    In addition, each team of the top 3 will receive a special Country Championship Award

    Each Team-Captain of the top3 is asked to open a support ticket in order to receive your premium keys.

    I wonder why nobody signed up for Ukraine and Poland, Poland has a lot of players playing this modification, not sure about Ukraine, though. And where is Germany, they said that they have signed up.

    I think new Germany team will sign up soon. I didn't even notice that Poland is missing. What's the real problem with Poland? I don't think POL squad is inactive. Just look: sx, Vetius, Meff, Nedi, evol, Dzejson, mumia, devon and many others. They all are playing ESL Versus, so come on sign up than slots will full. It would be shame if Poland didn't show up in this Cup with so many active players on ESL.
    @Cah Ukraine doesn't have enough players on ESL. Look at rankings It's like 21 players in Versus but only 3 online last 7 days. Poland: 231 players overall (but without cca 100 deleted accounts :D). Germany: 81. So these countries should really sign up.

    ^Problem with Team Poland is, there's no TEAM. SX doesn't want to be a leader anymore and don't think he wanna play either, Vetius is not so active, Mef is idiot, Nedi doesn't speak, evo doesn't want to play with 'lamers'.

    thats 100 times a european players ping :/ Could always make 3-4 Polish teams and German teams then make it europe ...

    Well, FAQs on how to create a squad/team(or w/e) for a nation in ESL webpage, rules including the ping limit, round number and so on. Then the announced groups and the point system, so basically just the FAQs that you can think of.
