| Here we will post how to configure different antivirus programmes so that they do not interfere with ESL Wire If you are still having problems then it is likely that your antivirus prevented the installation of the Wire Anti-Cheat Driver. Therefore you need to uninstall ESL Wire, disable your antivirus completely, then reinstall ESL Wire AVG Disable Resident Shield If you are having problems installing ESL Wire, then do this temporarily 1. Double click the AVG try icon 2. Go to Tools->Advanced Settings 3. Go to Resident Shield 4. Untick 'Enable Resident Shield' Directory Exclude This is a permanent solution to prevent AVG from having problems with ESL Wire once installed properly 1. Double click the AVG try icon 2. Go to Tools->Advanced Settings 3. Go to Resident Shield->Directory Excludes 4. Click Add Path 5. Add the path to the ESL Wire folder, e.g. Program Files\ESL Wire F-Secure You need to disable the DeepGuard function in F-Secure to be able to launch Wire, otherwise there will be a MSCVR90.DLL or QtWebKit4.dll error. Mcafee You need to disable Mcafee while installing and using Wire, otherwise it will delete wire.exe. -- ESL Community Manager :: therogue.org.uk edited by moderator
