What happened to the ESL Country Championship? Nothing special - it is running! Yes, we know the coverage was not that good during the first matchweek but due to several admins who went inactive we had to restructure the admin team. Right for the 2nd matchweek we are back! Let us have a slight view on the upcoming matches!

Sign ups are over as well as the map votings! It is time to get the cups started! The first matchweek starts today, you have seven days to complete the first round. Do not forget: There is a lower bracket too!

After a longer (than expected! Thanks to all teams which signed up!) qualification stage with some delays in one of the national qualifiers we are happy to announce the groups for the first Country Championship for Enemy Territory within the ESL! After a little break the ESL is back with some tournaments! Due to the fact that the Winter League had some delay we have decided to host a cup series featuring the formats of 1on1, 3on3 and 6on6. Sign up is free for all! Instead of skill based divisions we will host skill based cups for 3on3 and 6on6.

A little bit of delay due to the last finals which had to be played, but we managed to end the Winter Leagues Season 2011/2012! We had a lot of interesting matches and if you want to see some of them or read some match replays, you can easily check our News section and get connected with what happened in these leagues!

We're now halfway through the qualifiers, some countries already know the team that will represent them in the ESL ET Country Championship 2012, and some countries still have to play an additional qualifier! Some very interesting matches will be played in the next days so be sure to check our news section for more informations!

A total of 62 teams signed up in this Country Championship, representing 24 countries of the world! We'll be dropping almost 46 teams during these qualifiers as there are only 16 spots available for the Group Stage! Qualifiers will be played as one day cups, but more details about this in the news!

Finally it is time. A new era begins here within the Enemy Territory section and you can be a part of it! We proudly present: The first country championship within the ESL! After a lot of players contacted us to host our very own competition to battle out the best Enemy Territory nation we have finally decided to give it a try. Here we go! Winter Leagues have provided a lot of interesting matches in this season and it won't stop here as it's not over yet! We're closing in to the finals and many teams are fighting hard to reach the final stage. Tonight we'll see a lot of action in the <b>6on6 Premier Division</b> so you'd better not miss it!

Slowly but surely the Winter season within the Electronic Sports League is coming to its end. The final matches of each division will be played during the next days. Time for a little flashback while the decisive matches are about to come up. Hundreds of matches have been played and of course we cannot highlight every team and every match but we will emphasize some highlights of the entire season including teams and matches.

We're glad to announce the start of a new cup series within our section. In order to gain more activity in the ladders, we have modified the mappool and also the rules so all players enjoy playing our ladders and we have also decided to create this monthly event to decide which team is the best one in either 2on2/3on3/6on6 ladder! Every month we'll announce which ladder is in our sight, so you better sign up in all to be sure that you'll be part of this competition! Prizes are a must so keep on reading!

Due TZAC is going down, and no Anti-Cheat is properly working for Enemy Territory nowadays, we are going to setup ESL Wire Anti-Cheat for Enemy Territory. ESL Wire Anti Cheat is a private Anti-Cheat, used for Electronic Sports League in Enemy Territory. It won't cover any external leagues, or tournament, just those cups, ladders, and features (like Versus) hosted in the ESL Website.

An amazing game will happen tonight in the ESL Winter Leagues. Both teams are fighting for their chance to qualify in the Winter Leagues Playoffs. The standings show only one team that might be qualified so far in the Playoffs from this Group C, so all teams are doing their best to be the 2nd team to qualify!

Matchweek two is up since Monday and we already saw several matches in al formats. The last matches of matchweek two will take place tonight. This time we will focus on the most prestigious format in Enemy territory: 6on6 Stop Watch

After we've seen almost 40 matches on Sunday in the 1st Matchweek, a week with a lot of surprises, it's time for the 2nd matchweek to start with a 6on6 match between a super polish team that has many players participating in the current NC edition, and with a team that has to win today, otherwise it's all over for them! Our admins will be spectating this match so expect a quality match and also a match review in the next news!

Today is Sunday, and this always means that there's a lot of fun comming up! Almost 40 matches will be played today, and all part of this 1st Matchweek! We will be providing a live update of each match here, in the ESL newspost. You will be able to see <b>all the scores</b> and all the highlights of the matches with just a <b>simple click</b>!

Sign Ups are over! Here are the groups of the Winter Leagues! The 1on1 tournament will start with 52 players divided into 2 parts which will merge together after the group stage. 32 teams found their way into the 2on2 tournament split into two divisions. The 3on3 (76 teams) and the 6on6 (67 teams) tournaments will split into 4 divisions each.

The CB Eurocup and the ESL Major Series have been finished with some great matches and the Winter League has just begun so with a little bit of delay we are proud to present a new global configset of Clanbase and the Electronic Sports League.
