Qualification Round 2 for CS1.6, FIFA and CS:SThe first Qualification Round of Counter-Strike 1.6, FIFA 2010 and Counter-Strike:Source is already over. 18 national teams survived one stage of this year's qualification process to the ASUS European Nations Championship 2010. March 15th the second qualification round of CS1.6 and CS:S will start together with the first one of Warcraft 3 and Quake Live. One week later CS Female's first and FIFA's second round follows.

All in all three maps have been changed to keep the tournament up-to-date and more interesting. While Death Trap, Melting Valley and Avalanche have been removed, Centaur River, Last Refuge and Goldshire will refresh the new season of the ASUS ENC.

The winners of gamescom ENC FinalsDuring the last days we saw the new European champions in the core disciplines of the European Nations Championship. Only Sweden was able to keep their spot on the throne in Europes 1.6 scene. In CS:S, WC3 and FIFA three new champions rose from the cream of the crop and we're celebrated by thousands of fans here in Germany, at the gamescom in Cologne.

The last and probably most exciting match ended only moments ago, when Germany and Sweden competed in an almost classical showdown for the ENC Counter-Strike trophy. After two very close and exciting maps Sweden managed to beat the host nation and is the old and new European champion.

Second ENC 09 title for Germany in CS: SourceAfter winning the European Nations Championship in FIFA09 Germany managed to win another discipline of the finals at gamescom, Cologne. France won the first map, but wasn't able to win the second one. Supported by the large crowd Germany saved the day for their fans and won de_tuscan and de_dust2. Tomorrow the last discipline begins, when Sweden, Poland, France and Germany playing the CS 1.6 semi finals.

Denmark wins ENC 2009 Warcraft 3The first final match at the gamescom ended a few minutes ago. Denmark is the new European Champion of Warcraft 3. They managed to beat Netherlands clearly with three to zero maps. It is the first gold medal for this nation in the history of the ENC and even the first time entering the top three- Congratulations Netherlands!
