The Electronic Sports League and its predecessors have existed now for over ten years and have their roots in Germany. Back in the days mostly Germans were on the page. But by now the ESL is represented in over 20 countries and the European section is in the focus by many fans because of the European Nations Championship and ESL Major Series. So we want to make a few changes in the way the league system works.

The third and final phase of qualification takes place this week. Hundreds of players from across Europe and the world will play this week in Qualifying Round 2. To lose is to be knocked out, to win will see them go through to play in the ESL Major Series.

The e-stars Continental Cup will take place in Seoul Trade Exhibition Center (SETEC) from July 24 to 27. Each team consists of three Counter-Strike teams and three Warcraft 3 players – six CS teams and six WC3 players in total. World top players will compete for US$75,000. You can decide which teams and players will play for Team West or Team East. Pick your favorite teams and players at the e-stars webpage until 20th of April.
