Meet the teams of WCIP Season V: Group A
A little bit later than usual, but here none the less! I bring you the teams of WCIP broken down into two parts of Group A and Group B. Read more to get a break down and the introduction of the 8 teams in Group A!

The Teams:

aRirang

Meet the Group B Teams

aRirang made their debut last season, and it was a shaky one. They blasted their way through qualifications for this season like the last, but unlike last season, they appear to be much stronger than before. With new stronger korean members added to their squad, it is likely we could be seeing this team much higher in the rankings than their last performance.

HaN is manager currently for aRirang and had to say the following:
Hello followers and supporters of WCIP! aRirang is back for another season and sadly last season we didn't meet up to everyone's expectations, however this season we will meet the audiences' expectation and never repeat what happened last season. Also many thanks to D4NnY for running another season of WCIP as well as other admins of WCIP like Heaven and Cherry. We hope to see a great season and GL
HF to all the teams in this season of WCIP

Ex-MYM.WC3 are the Season III and Season IV champions, and the only team to win to consecutives titles in the WCIP. This veteran team is claims the the throne with a powerful grip and it will be tough to break it as they contain some of the best players in the world on their team. Expect nothing less than grade A performance from this team as they will most likely be defending their title in the playoffs. With this season being tougher than ever, will they be able to achieve 3 straight golds in a row?

Teccy is manager currently for Ex-MYM.WC3 and had to say the following:
We are very happy that we are able to take part in another season of the WCIP. We really thought for a long time if we should take part and in the end we came to the decision that we need to support this great league. With this decision we could give a homeless player awesome support, too. Our team has made brilliant experiences and we are looking for more (of them? = right grammar?) Thanks for making it possible Danny. HoT joined us recently, but as everybody knows he is not in his old shape yet. So of course our aim is to defend our victory of the last season. I think we have a great team, a great atmosphere and all kind of stuff we need for winning this season *smiles*. The WCIP and Danny showed that it's worth to fight for this game. I think nobody should give up this game and everybody should stop complaining about the fact that Warcraft 3 maybe will be overtaken by Starcraft 2 in the future. Everybody who is really unhappy with the current situation can make some changes in the scene and game anyway. For example creating own maps where you can change the blademasters strength. I just want to give you guys a little hint with this and I'm sure that we will have a great WCIP season. Stay tuned,
Teccy

ieS Virtual Gaming is the classic team of WCIP that won WCIP Season I. This team has gone through many many line up changes as they bounce between a strong team, and then a sub-par team. Last season everyone expected a powerhouse team, but this was not the case as they nearly got last place in the group stage. This season they are off to a little better start, but only time will tell if this team can return to their season 1 strength and dominate.

daY is organizer currently for ieS Virtual Gaming and had to say the following:
Well, our team feels good, to have the opportunity to still be part of an international league like WCIP, and it feels good that WCIP is still alive. That it is on the one hand, on the other hand, it's a pretty bad timing by blizzard, to exactly release the BETA of SCII right now because many players try it out, what means there is less training, but anyway we feel good and prepared. Our goal is to reach #1 in WCIP, it's going to be a tough job and we'll be underdogs quite often, but we feel good in this position and hope that we're able to show some surprising and never expected results, like we did in WC3L too, for example. And to our fans and the whole community: I'd like to thank all of them for trusting in us and for supporting us. We'll give our best and I hope we will not disappoint them. In addition I want to thank our sponsors TINET.Media, Sportex and Webmex.ru who do  magnificent support from the beginning.

Against All Authority.WC3 is a brand new team to WCIP that acutally had a bit of fortune on their side. This team actually lost in the very last round of qualification and missed making it into the season by the skim of their teeth, but since the collapse of Infernal Gamers happend, this team of french commrades got their invite to the season. They got a rough start so far, but have had really rough opponents, we will see if they can turn things around in time for playoffs.

Odey is organizer currently for Against All Authority.WC3 and had to say the following:
We really are looking forward this WCIP season. Strangely enough, this is the second time we take part to the league, but we never qualified fair and square. Nonetheless I have the feeling that we deserve to be here, and we will try our best to reach the play-offs, though it might be hard with the SC2 beta going on. We wish good luck to all the WCIP teams, and we hope our fans get to enjoy Monster's epic games.

Praetoriani is no stranger to anyone familiar with the warcraft 3 scene. This team has been around along time, but is making their WCIP debut this season. Much more known to the WC3L Series, they have decided to give WCIP a try and ripped through qualification and now have high goals for the groupstage. This team contains very strong players are the the favorites to advance out of their group to the playoffs.

Vendetta-  is organizer currently for Praetoriani and had to say the following:
Team leagues are always a good option to represent the team and the sponsors. We are happy and excited to compete in the fifth WCIP-Season. It's a well organized league with strong teams and good maps. The old WC3L-System is also a nice feature so that team spirit will be very important. The groups are nicely seeded, we do see chances in getting a top 2 ranking however with team leagues its hard to predict the outcome. Last few weeks we had very decent results and the shape as well as the motivation of the team is very high, we will do our best the get as many points possible as well as showing amusing and interesting matches. We would like to thank our fans, which gave us great support in the past. Another big thank you goes to our main sponsor "RAPTOR-Gaming Technologies" for their great support. We will show great performance to make our fans happy and proud. So keep on cheering and supporting us, because fans are always the best motivation for players. RAP RAP ROOAARR !!!

Teamedit.. is another classic veteran team of WCIP that have won 2nd and 3rd place in previous seasons of WCIP, but have yet to achieve their goal of the 1st place gold. Their team also was known last season for some contraversy as they decided to drop out of WCIP at the end of their run in playoffs least season, but only to strangely make a return this season by batteling their way through the loser bracket of qualification. Lets hope things go much smoother for them this season as S.o.K.o.L the Season IV MVP will be battling for repeat nomination.

Tex  is organizer currently for Teamedit.. and had to say the following:
Hi Fans!
We are glad to be part of the next WCIP season. After the breakdown of the NGL WCIP became even more important then it was even before. So you can expect competition on a highest possible level. We (n!faculty) will try to qualify for the playoffs. Of course this wont be easy, since we have some really big names in our group. We promises being well prepared for every single clan war. Maybe we are the big underdog but we believe in our strength. So we hope that we can show great games and win a lot of games. Good Luck and Have Fun to everyone!!!

Tex

eXpertise is the only chinese team to ever be in WCIP groupstage to this day. They had a solid 3rd place performance in Season III, but a shockingly bad performance in Season IV pretty much losing all their clan wars and nearly being dropped out of WCIP and forced to do qualification again. If it wasn't for team Millenium disbanding, eXpertise would have had to battle in qualficiation, but instead got saved. Their starting results are starting to look a little like last season, so hopefully they will get it together else a repeat of last season is in order.

DooKi is manager currently for eXpertise and had to say the following:
We are excited that WCIP has begun once again, it was really sad news when I heard the league might not continue after last season. It seems that each of the three season's we've been in WCIP that we have had a new roster almost entirely. I believe this season we have a legitimate chance of making the playoffs and making a good run after a disappointing Season 4. We have a couple new unknown players which really have something to prove and are capable of some surprising upsets. Hope we can deliver some good games and good luck to all the teams!

Team Empire formerly known as SJ Gaming from last season did fairly well in Season IV obtaining 4th place, compared to their 2nd place title in Season III. This season their team is looking even stronger as they have picked up some more players and are hungry once again for a first time WCIP gold. They are off to a decent start, lets see if they can keep that momentum throughout the entire groupstage.

StrangeR is manager currently for Team Empire and had to say the following:
I’m happy that WCIP is returned! Many top teams understood all appeal and prestigiousness of this league, therefore we could see interesting qualify and 2 groups with best teams in season. If World Elite and WeMadeFox were in WCIP, we would have a full stars collection. I hope it will happen in next season.
This season is promising to bring in wc3  that is not less interesting than games in the wc3l. As for my team, I think this season will be harder than last, we got strong group and every game, every point can solve all. Our minimum goal is top 3 of our group and then all will depend of playoff grid. Players are ready to fight and to get place higher than in previous season.
I want to thank our fans, who believe in us and support in match comments, it’s really helping and, of course, big thanks to our Head sponsor Pokeroff.ru for huge support!
