Pre-Match Statement
The playoff stage of the EMS sees us start against dRu. They;re a team who not many people know outside of the French scene and are definately in the shadow of Verygames and ROOCAT, I beleive only being in this competition because of disqualifications in the French EPS. However they;ve done well to get out of the groups so they must be respected. We;re only just coming back from our Christmas break so they could catch us by surprise, but I;m confident of and expect a convincing victory to start our 2010 season as we hope to continue.

Post-Match Statement:
dRu surprised us a lot in this game and it ended a lot closer than we expected. They gave us a shock on the first map and even managed to force overtime on nuke, showing their potential especially after we had just beaten Attax before this game. GG

STATEMENT
This week, we're going to face hoorai, in our first match of the ESL Major Series playoffs. Power Gaming has proven to be one of the best team in UK, and so it's announces a very hard game for us. This will be our first official match in 2010 and it's going to be interesting test after this short break. Good luck and enjoy!

Welcome to the EMS CSS season V Playoff.

Schedule
This match has to be played before Sunday, 17/01/10 23:59 CET.
Default date is Sunday, 17/01/10 20:00CET. You can reschedule this with a protest.

Match format
A playoffs match is best of three maps, first to 16 rounds. In the event of a tie, overtime will be MR5 with 10k startmoney for the first round of each half.

Map choice
To decide which map is played in a relegation or playoff match a veto system is used. Both teams alternatingly remove one map from the pool :
* the lower ranked team begins to eliminate the first map
* the higher ranked team eliminates second map
* the lower ranked team picks first map to be played
* the higher ranked team says second and third.
Here Lower ranked is dRu, higher ranked is Power Gaming.

Good game and thanks to both teams. Aequitas files are a very important factor on ESL and the lack of it is not acceptable under whatever circumstances. However PwR accepted the decision and replayed the match.
