Double Interview

First of all, congratulations on reaching the Grand Final of the EMS V. Did you expect to be in this position at the start of EMS V?
João 'BigzZ' Simão (JustPlay): To be honest, at the start, we were with doubts about passing the group stage. We knew that facing majestic and High Fidelity (with some former H2k.Azerty players) would be really hard. When we got ourselves in the first place of the group, we actually thought that we could go far in this league, our motivation was higher from match to match and I think that was one of the main factors of our success, because we didn't prepare for any match.

Ben 'Stone' van Kester (Knights): Nah, we did not expect to get this far. This season just seems to fit for us. The players are tuned into each other. We know what we are good at and get eachother into good positions. Trusting teammates has gotten us to play at a higher level then we used to, and considering we had two new additions, Bart and Darkki we did not really know what to expect. Both have already proven themselves as worthy additions to the team with specific and at times very handy skills.

What are your thoughts about the Grand Final and which map will they pick according to you?
João 'BigzZ' Simão (JustPlay): I think that Knights will take either Tunnel or Insurgent Camp, in the matches we played them, those maps were their strongest. To win the Grand final, we have to win both maps. Our chances of winning both maps is small, but since we came this far, I hope we're focused enough in the match, any mistake can be crucial. Knights are on a winning streak, so this will be our hardest match with no doubts.

Ben 'Stone' van Kester (Knights): It's hard to tell what their map will be, they can just go for every map. They have performed well on every map, proving confident and deadly accurate. I think they will pick the map they are most confident on, and seeing we have never played them in EMS before I can't tell which map that is. In short, I think Knights will have a very difficult game. JustPlay is a very strong team on every map. I think they will confidently win both their own and our map and troughout the game Knights will be running behind a little and having some difficulty adapting. Knowing this beforehand we will try not to lose grip on the game

Which player of the other team will be the key player, and why?
João 'BigzZ' Simão (JustPlay): Honestly, I think Knights their success is teamwork, they've been playing with the same roster for a long time. Mentioning a player, I would say that Bart is the player to watch, an old-school player which is in a good shape lately.

Ben 'Stone' van Kester (Knights): I think justplay depends on BigzZ his tactical and positional game. He has very good positioning and he thinks about what to do very fast. He is a player to watch out for. Cocaine is plain scary, his aim is sick and he has a lot of experience. I expect a key role of the Portuguese players in the game.
