ESL Major Series: WB Final
After a little break the ESL Major Series Playoffs are now well under way and will reach the decisive matches quite fast. In the next days you can see three matches, headed by the Winnerbracket Final between one4one.141 and H2k-Gaming. Furthermore the Loserbracket continues with two matches at round 2. Read on for more details on all matches.
When one4one.141 and H2k-Gaming will face each other next week, it will be an interesting Winnerbracket Final. Both teams are still unbeaten at the EMS Playoffs and played quite well this season even though they struggled at other competitions. On the one hand we have one4one.141. The team lost just one match at the group stage and had to play an extra match at the relegation. They could win it without any problems and started a winning streak which has not found an end yet.

On the other hand we have H2k-Gaming. This team has won every match at ESL in the last nine months. After winning the ESL ET Winter League some months ago the team has now very good chances to become the champion at Europe's most important Enemy Territory competition within the ESL. A prize money of 500 € is waiting for some new owners and the winner of this match has good chances to get the biggest part of it.

Well first of all we're very happy to come this far in the tournament. It's a nice competition to play and the prospect of some prize money is a nice addition. The biggest downside is that we can't add our newest players and therefore are playing with 2 ex-members at all times, but I guess we'll just have to manage it. I must say I was surprised seeing H2k beat afterlife, it will be a tough game against them but we'll obviously be trying our best to win this match!

But this is not everything that is waiting for you next week. Additionally, we have two more matches of Loserbracket Round 2 for you. At both matches only the winner can still reach one of the top three places. Since the loser will be kicked out of the tournament, everyone will give one's very best to survive at this round:

Well we havent played for 1/2 weeks due to holidays, so I don't know if we will be any good or not. Afterlife is certainly a very strong opponent, winning the last edition of the Clanbase EuroCup, they are the favourites in the game. This will be our last tournament before we take a summerbreak (maybe even our last real ET-tournament if we decide to pick up Wolfenstein) so we will do our best to finish in the top-3 of the cup but that will be very though I guess.
