The Alienware Finals of ESL Pro Series Season VIII in France will be held at the Japan EXPO in Paris, from 1st to 4th of July 2010. Professional gamers will compete in the disciplines of Counter-Strike 1.6, Counter-Strike: Source and TrackMania Nations Forever in order to win the awards and a total prize money of 16,000 Euros live in front of a cheering audience.

Today there has been a small move inside Turtle Entertainment. The departments of the busines unit "Gaming Communities" from now on share one floor. Up to now they had been on different floors which wasn't especially benefivial for talking to each other. This was a little bit more difficult than just moving PCs and monitors. Boxes had to be packed and carried around.

Another small but useful feature for making playing on the Electronic Sports League even easier. A "start match" button has been added to the Matchchat window making it possible for you to launch ESL Wire to start your match directly from the website. This feature of course requires you to have ESL Wire installed.

The ESL Playercard was introduced October 1st 2005 as the first player ID card in the history of eSports. Over the last five years the importance of the ESL Playercard has increased more and more, but maybe there are still some people out there who do not yet understand which possibilities that the Playercard has to offer.

The last boost was shortly after the Matchchat release and today we announce the next ESL Level Boost for all soccer games. During the World Cup in Africa we won't have any losers, because it doesn't matter if you win or lose, you will get 250 XP for the match. Read the news to find out which games we mean and how many XP you will get for a gather.
