While the new playersheet is still in overall progress, we have managed to announce and add a new feature today: the Guestbook. In an added tab at the top of each players playersheet you can see how many Guestbook entries you currently have listed.

In the next few days the first of ESL's Playercards will arrive to their new owners and this means that the first "Trusted Player" levels will be set. Of course, this will have to be made visable for all to see on the site, so we completely redisgned the playersheets for all members.

The German Section of the ESL has flourished magnificently for many years, but also the other European Sections dont have to hide anymore. Above all ESL.France, ESL.Czech and ESL.Alpen have grown faster than ever before.

As of today, it has been possible to register a second SteamID for HL2/CS:S Leagues. This is for owners of two Steam accounts to participate in each the CS and CS:S leagues without any problems.

With immediate effect, the use of Cheating Death in the ESL is compulsory. VAC is no longer regarded as a Valid AC Tool. VAC unfortunately offers no considerable protection against cheats, this is the reason for our decision to make CD an obligation. This means there is no need for the necessary agreement on an Anti-Cheat Tool now that Cheating-Death is compulsory.

Exactly one year ago the battle for the ENC Champion title saw the light of day. Now it launches into its second round. On their way to the finals the participating teams offered us some really exciting games and - beginning in March 2005 - the fun will resume!
