Read this news carefully because there are many important things that you have to know in context with the groupstage.

The groups

We have put 1-1 player into the different groups from the invited ones. Each group contain further 2 players who received a MR slot. Finally we put 3-3 players who arrived from the QR2. In addition the players with identical nationality have been divided into different groups (except the German players).

Note: Fijo was locked because of a serious misdemeanour therefore he has been disqualified from this EMS. Jacy91 is the next in the line from their national qualifier so he'll play instead of Fiju.

The system

2 matches per opponent per playweek
The first result adds to the second one. For example: 3:1 + 1:2 = 4:3 (Final result)

The default date on every playweek is Monday, 20:00CET but the current match can be played anytime on the playweek from Monday to Sunday.

We suggest it to the participating players that make an agreement about the suitable date and time on the web page of their match always at the beginning of the week.

Only against one opponent allowed to play during a playweek. If a player knows that won't be available during a playweek then he can play earlier but necessary to open a protest because of this.

About the playoffs

The playoffs will be 12 contestant single elimination bracket. The top 3 contestants from each group will qualify for the playoffs. The group winners will be seeded 1 to 4, the group 2nd places 5-8 and third places 9-12. This means in the first round the group winners won't play. Only the 2nd and 3rd places will play against each other. The contestants will be seeded so that two contestants from the same group can only meet in the semi-final.
