With more than 6 million page impressions per day and growing, the ESL website is one of the largest in Europe. Unfortunately, in recent years there were times when our hardware and software were unable to keep up with the growth. Since downtimes like these make a far greater impression than plenty of days without problems, we'd like to offer you an easy way to keep track of the performance of our website.

We are proud to announce the next season of the ESL European Nations Championship for 2010. We are all looking forward to the biggest and best season of European Nations Championship ever been. Stay tuned for further details about the new games, prize money, sponsors and the big changes to come!

On Wednesday, January the 20th 2010, we are going to install an important update for our database servers. Unfortunately this will require the database servers to be shut down during the update. Therefore the ESL website and all its platforms are going to be offline from 6am until 11am.

The new year has come and is already a few days old. 2010 is going to be an exciting year, but before it is going to really start, we want to have a look at 2009, at the facts and numbers. We collected oodles of numbers to trace out what has happened - in numbers - in the ESL during the last year.
