Due to a large expansion in the International Section of the Electronic Sports League, we are now looking to strengthen our IRC suport. To do this, we need some new admins for this task and we are currently looking for people within the ESL community, who have the time and desire to help, to provide improved support to other users via IRC. The regular season has come to an end but we still have to decide which two more teams may join the ranks of the four first ranked countries during the LAN finals in Cologne. The penalty system, as we know it today, was introduced along with many other upgraded in the "ESL 2.0" update of December 2001. Since then, we have gained valuable experience and we have used this to modify the whole penalty point system over the past few months. The changes listed hereafter are to take affect from this point forwards until further notice is given. Now, we would like to present The ESL Penalties Reform 2004.

It'll be a showmatch with the ESL UTCL system by two non-utcl teams: a-Losers and Mortal Teamwork.
Both teams are favourites for a participation in Season II.

The Match will start at 20:00 CET (#esl.utcl1 for Infos), the ESL TV broadcast starts at 19:25 CET.

The very last matches outstanding in group B, Germany vs. Denmark has no influence over who will qualify for the playoffs and the ENC Offline LAN Finals in Cologne, Germany. However, it will be determined who will leave the group stage on rank #2 and #3 in group B. In addition, this match will finish the group stage of the first European Nations Championship Season.
