Dota 2 gets a 5on5 A-Series
Finally, teams are able to experience our new A-Series as we open one for Dota 2. Our new league system, build for teams looking for organised matches, invites you to good old Dota 2 matches and more.

Dota 2 5on5 A-Series!

Sign up immediately for the Dota 2 5on5 A-Series. We'll make sure there will be plenty of dates available you can sign up for and get your first points. This is recommended as on Monday, December 3rd, at 13:00 CET the first division update will categorize all participants into the real divisions according to their points. Later on the division update will happen every two weeks.

What is A-Series you ask? Allow us to elaborate...

The A-Series does not only merge our old EAS and ladder systems, but will revolutionize them! Regular competition in divisions graduated by skill continues to be the key element even though we built the league and its matchmaking completely from scratch. Just as in VERSUS the whole procedure - from searching for opponents to entering the score - is made simpler and fairer!

No more need for Premium or Trusted to get you started in the A-Series!

You'll find more information in our recent preview called A-Series explained:
I Divisions - II Points System - III Matchmaking - IV Minimum Activity

Questions? Don't hesitate to share, discuss and feedback in our A-Series Beta Forum.

After we put a lot of attention on VERSUS recently, A-Series is our new feature for all ambitious and competition loving players, teams and eSports fans out there. It is our connecting link between casual playing as in VERSUS and professional leagues such as the ESL Major Series and the Intel Extreme Masters. This is where you can get competition not only for points, but also for attention. Make your way to the top!

We hope you like our new A-Series and love to hear your feedback. Good luck and have fun!

Will there be a Pro Series aswell?
@krby one after the other! first the dota2 a-series gets prizes after teams have joined and played, then more prizes, more teams and then if its really strong enough comparably to the other eps games, it can easily get an eps or ems.
good job @ esl
much teams waited so long for action in the esl
So exciting! I can't wait to see what happens :)
i just wonder that how will you shape leagues? With invite teams or will they begin from AM League like others?
