SK removed from ESL Major Series
Last season's ESL Major Series winner SK-Gaming is removed from this season's playoffs after accumulating 10 minor penalties for failing to follow simple rules and meet basic requirements.
In all our top leagues we require participating teams to meet some relatively simple requirements in order to have a higher quality presentation for the tournament.

However, unfortunately some teams choose to ignore these requirements which are part of the rules leading to penalty points and eventually removal, even after numerous efforts by the admin team to fix them.

SK accumulated 10 penalty points for failing to comply with the following (after more than 10 weeks of the competition):
- Complete team sheet with public player photos and real names displayed
- Prematch statements posted before the match is played
- Replay and/or screenshot uploaded after the match

As a result of accumulating their 10th minor penalty in their match versus Kingsurf International, the result is changed to a default win to Kingsurf International.

Storm Games Clan (9 minor penalties) and SP Gaming DotA (7 minor penalties) are currently in the danger zone.

We would like to thank the teams who have met the requirements, of the teams remaining this includes DTS.chatrix, Kingdom.DotA and Kingsurf International.

It's been midsummer in sweden and we havent been avail for the last 2 days because of party + football.
Instead you use forum try to reach which obviously not many teams is looking at or at all?

2.9.1 Email
Official communication from the ESL Major Series admins and participants will be done by email to the email
address used by participants on the ESL website. All participants are reminded that they should check this
email regularly so as not to miss important announcements.
2.9.2 Players advice forum
In team leagues, up to three (3) members of a team can have access to the player advice forum. Access will
be granted by request from the team manager to the respective ESL Major Series Head admin.
The player advice forum is the only official communication platfeorm between the players and the admin team.
All postings in these forums are automatically sent to the invited members.

From the confirm participation thread in the EMS Players board which confirms you have access and seen the players board

CONFIRM SK

And you yourself replied (to ask about EMSI prize money) to one of the multiple reminding all teams of the requirements!

Of course the admin team *could* spend every waking hour personally contacting each member of your team reminding them of what they need to do, but it is better for all if teams take some responsibility for themselves

IF you would actually care about the DotA section you could just arrange for the games having your own streamers etc. The rules on this site makes no sense and you are rediculing the whole competitive community by penalting teams for not uploading pictures of themselves at the site. We embrace the penalty which resulted in us being removed from ESL, we had some problems with our manager which resulted in him being kicked from the team. Our new manager didn't have time to look into every tournament fast enough and it seems like this all resulted in this sad ending.

Cheers
very sad :(
one of favourites out...
happens :/

tournaments should be taken more seriously by participating teams.....
#4, if you have a bad manager you have at least 5 other people on your team who could have stepped up and taken responsibility for the team in the last 3 months
"Replay been up on SK-Gaming.com since the very match was played,"

and? the admins have to search all the replays from the clan pages?

they havent try to contact U? wtf? its not about the admins to explain u the rules, its about u to read, understand and follow the rules urself

how should the dota scene appears proffesional? if not even the best are?

and how sad is it to start an discussion about "dumb" rules 3 mouths AFTER u signed in?

if u want to participate, accept the rules OR try to change them, contact the admins, create a community voting, do SOMETHING
but DONT sign in and break them 10 times in a row AND! be arrogant on top(if u want the reps, search them^^// if u want us take ur prize money find us and explain us the public visible rules)

sk as one of the oldest and professional clans in the world, will have some ppl who are long enought in the esports to explain U how it works, just ask them, dont be shy
ahaha
lol thats sad... ahaha xD
