Structure

The tournament is a knockout structure. Entries will be limited to 32 slots and will be played 1 round every 6 days beginning Sunday, 22/11/09 21:00.
The player must agree to the date on which to play the match, any challenge can only be postponed by six days, in any case, this can not be postponed beyond the date of default.
In case of difficulty in finding an agreement teams are invited to open a Protest.

1st round: 24/12/09 - 06/01/10
2nd Round: 07/01/10 - 13/01/10
3rd Round: 14/01/10 - 20/01/10
4th Round: 21/01/10 - 27/01/10
final round: 28/01/10 - 03/02/10


The Seedings will be made according to the standings of the DotA 5on5 Ladder.

Rules

• The ESL Europe DotA rules apply, unless an exception is stated in this news.
• "New player barrage" does not apply!
• "Inactive Barrage" does not apply!
• If a team is 15 minutes too late it will receive a default loss
• All players must enter their Garena/GGC (WC3/DotA) gameaccount on their Gameaccounts page
• Teams should save after first blood and then after a large fight or every 5 minutes. If a player drops, before first blood, the game is remade. .
• If a player disconnects after First Blood or after 10 minutes both teams may agree to load from last savegame - otherwise both teams must keep on playing without the load. If both teams agree to load, you must load from the latest savegame.
• A team which has obtained an Advantage over the other team since the last save may force a load from last savegame if a player disconnects.
• An Advantage is defined as follows: If Team A has obtained more than 5 hero kills more than Team B, Team A is counted as having an Advantage. Tower kills count for 3 hero kills and barrack kills count for 5 hero kills when calculating who has the Advantage.
