Since 2009 we have been hosting the First Champion of the year award. If you may remeber the cup was connected directly with our 6on6 Ladder as the contestants of the cup were the best teams of the Ladder in december. But as the Autumn Playoffs are still running and the Ladder was not that active the cup is open for any team willing to sign up!

Autumn smoothly turned to winter. And with a little delay we're starting playoffs in our Autumn League 2011. We've seen many exciting matches during the groupstage not only in Premier division but in lower divisions also. Few teams impressed the community showing their ability to improve skills in very short period of time. But now all matches of groupstage have finished and we hope you're ready for the playoff. This news contain important info about it. So please read the news carefully.

Some matches are still not played, so we give you one more week! This means you can play your open matches till next Sunday. But that also means to hurry up and agree on a date, because on Monday we will release the Playoffs news.

It's not that much time ago that the new playing system VERSUS has been released. In the beginning only a few games were added for testing and other stuff. But now Day of Defeat: Source has been added too. With this new system you only need two clicks to find an opponent within seconds.

Recently we realized that the command db_status doesn't work in a proper way and can not be fixed in the near future. The developer of the plugin tried to fix the bug but it seems this issue can not be fixed fast sadly enough. Therefore we decided that it's necessary to add the old rcon status back into our ruleset.

Time is up! In the last few weeks we had the Qualification Cups and a lot of teams signed up for getting a spot into Premier Division. But it was also a good practice to see on which skill level you are which made it more easy to put you in the right division. All in all we have 83 teams at this time, in comparison to 98 teams in the Spring Season. But it's nice to see that so many are still active. Big thanks to you all!

Just a few days ago we published our very first draft seedings of the divisions. Over the course of the past two days, we have received a lot of feedback from you which has allowed us to make the divisions even more balanced. Now, with this news, we are happy to present to you the second draft of the divisions! It is probable that some teams may not be satisfied with their positioning, but they should understand that sometimes ESL is unable to give you a requested placement, due to certain circumstances.

The Qualification Cups for the Premier Division will be over in two days. You can see the list of teams that already have been qualified for the Premier Division. Among them are well known teams like FirstFrag, zeroPoint!, clutchmasterz and others. So this season promises to be very interesting!

It's been a while ago but since the 2011 Summercup ended but we haven't forget the winners of our Summercup 2011. At the beginning we started with around 32 teams but in the end we just have one winner. Those who played against them couldn't beat their teamplay, one of the reaons why they won all their matches.

Registration for the very first Autumn QualiCup has already opened. Anyone can sign up as long as there are still free slots available. A few at them have already been occupied. Keep in mind that the maximum number of slots for every QualiCup is 16! All in all, there will be 4 such QualiCups taking place.

A fair environment for your ESL matches is our first class priority! Guided by this principle, we present you our new Anti-cheat policy. More recently, we announced the first part of our new Anti-Cheat policy - the script reform. Recall that the penalty for the use of forbidden scripts became very strict: for one script in the config of one player a team or a player can immediately get defloss or the match will be deleted. Besides that we will also give a large number of penalty points and imposing a ban of the long duration.

Summer is over, Autumn is coming. With this news we want to accounce the 6on6 Autumn League 2011. We had a lot of changes and prepared a lot of stuff for this event, so we may see the success out of it. However, let's focus on gaming now.

You probably noticed our last changes related to reform 66 tickrate, changes in rules and so on. The summer just came to an end a couple of days ago. Our Summercup 2011 will finish within a few days. We hope you had a great time this summer. You're rested and prepared your team for the new Autumn season 2011 that will start from week to week.

It is now summer where most of you guys are spending time outside, playing soccer, relaxing in the sun or drinking beer and doing other things. However there is no rest for the wicked! You don't believe us? Well, then read on and find out what we have changed.

It's been a while since our last 2on2 cup, but here we go again! We just finished the Spring Season Playoffs and also the first European Football Cup, but in order to prevent inactivity among those who play you can now take part on our 2on2 Summercup. So sign up, win some premium prizes and may an award!

The Spring League has come to an end and we had some great exciting matches. All in all we had more than 100 teams which signed up at the beginning and most of them did it. They played all their matches, but some of them were better than the others and fighted for the 1st placed in their divisions.

The Spring Season is almost finished and now we don't want to release the next event, where you have to spend your time for training or other stuff. With this cup we leave the "professional" level and fun should be the main target. So we are going to start the first european football tournament for Day of Defeat: Source. We hope that you'll have a lot of fun and that a lot of you will sign up for this event!

After a very long season we finally found a winner for the ESL 2011 Country Championships. We went through the qualification matches where six teams had to qualify for the groupstage. In the groupstage the top 4 of every group earned a slot in the playoffs. Now only one nation remains.

The Country Championship 2011 has come to an end. We saw a lot of exciting matches but also some nation teams folded due to a lost of motivation and other stuff. But now here we are... the Grand Final.

Halfway through April we started with the first matches of the Spring Leauge 2011 and yesterday we had the last ones. After giving some teams a last chance to get their matches played we proudly present the remaining teams which will be competing in this season's playoffs. They are the best teams of their group and they will have the oppertunity to win premium prizes and ofcourse the honor of being the best. Before we announce the playoff teams we will give you some further information about the playoffs.

Currently we have the problem that there are still some open matches in Spring League 2011. So we will give you three more days to finish those, so that you have to finish them till Wednesday. If there are still some open matches after this day, we will delete them and the team may be penalized for aborting the match.

The new year had just started as we announecd the first ever 1on1 wintercup. 81 Players signed up to compete. Around 200 matches and 3 months later and we are here, presenting you the Top3. Lets see who gets an rare award and some premium.
