 DoD 6on6 Ladder opening nightcup
ESL 6on6 Ladder + Opening Nightcup
It's been quite inactive in the last months in the Day of Defeat Classicsection of the ESL, but this is about to change. Soon we will start an 6on6 Ladder and will bring you more information about that in an separate news. This news is about the Opening Cup that will start the Ladder.
As mentioned above this will be the Kickoff-Cup for our upcoming 6on6 Ladder. Mappool will be: anzio, avalanche, chemille, donner, flash, harrington, kalt, lennon_b2, merderet, northbound, saints, solitude2_b2, sturm, railroad2 and sherman. The cup will take place 3rd of may and will try to gather 16 Teams, if we get fewer signups, we will decrease the slots certainly, to avoid to much Defaultwins. We will keep you up to date via IRC and the known Sites of our Community. Here are the details for this Nightcup.

Mapelimination


A match will be played on two Maps in 4x15 minutes. Both teams will get the whole Mappool and vote maps out until there are two left. I'll give you an little example.

K0rN: anzio out

Silver: chemille out

lennon and harrington will be played

To get an easy overview you are asked to do the mapelimination in the Matchcomments of ESL.

Check in


To avoid any Defaultwins every team needs to check in 30 minutes before the Cup starts. If there will be more signups than 16, but less than 32, the teams after the first 16 will queue up and get the free spots.

Barred Players


All players who join a Team before the tournament kicks off are allowed to play. If a player is barred because of to many penalty points he is not allowed to play.
