Cup Series Q2/2012 Announcement

 Beside the Season Cups we also did a Cup Series in January and February and think that it was a good first attempt. We want to hold on to this tournament and will do a new Cup Series in the 2nd Quarter of 2012. The prices will be the same, but there will be some smaller changes to improve the Cup Series.
Last time we only offered 16 slots and saw that was not enough. That's why there will be 32 slots. The second problem was the very short time which caused a confusing overlaps between the matches of one cup and the signup of the following cups. This time there are the three monthly cups April 2012 Cup, May 2012 Cup and June 2012 Cup and in June the final playoffs. But one thing will be the same: The single elimination mode. For the seedings we use the rankings of the
 EU 1on1 Ladder - so if you're unhappy with the seedings, it's in your hand to influence the seedings. Only the final playoffs are in Double Elimination mode. CSM 1on1 April 2012 Cup

Additonal Information
Seedings: To reduce the duration of the Cup Series the cup mode is single elimination. We will use the CSM EU 1on1 Ladder rankings for the seedings. So if you think, the seedings are unfair: You can influence it yourself by playing matches in the ladder. Gameaccount: Your gameaccount in the ESL must be current. The correct gameaccount is your actual loginname in CSM. Ingame Ladder: You are allowed to play your matches as PCW, if your opponent agrees. Otherwise the matches have to be played in the ingame ESL CSM Ladder. You can join it for free by using this link.

1st place: 3 months

The top 3 player of each cup will be displayed in our Hall of Fame.
You also have the chance to get additional cups for participating (even if you don't win a match) and for winning cup matches. Here you can find all cup awards.
