To enhance the Cup Series cup to 32 slots was a good idea, but the three monthly tournaments have proven to have some disadvantages. The scoring system was impractical and most participants of the monthly cups didn't know that they were part of the Cup Series.

That's why there are some changes again. There will be four Single Elimination cups with 32 slots. The best two players get qualified for the final playoffs, the other ones get another chance in the next cups. For the seedings we use the rankings of the EU 1on1 Ladder - so if you're unhappy with the seedings, it's in your hand to influence the seedings. Also the final playoffs will be in Single Elimination mode.

Additonal Information

Seedings: To reduce the duration of the Cup Series the cup mode is single elimination. We will use the CSM EU 1on1 Ladder rankings for the seedings. So if you think, the seedings are unfair: You can influence it yourself by playing matches in the ladder.
Gameaccount: Your gameaccount in the ESL must be current. The correct gameaccount is your actual loginname in CSM.
Ingame Ladder: You are allowed to play your matches as PCW, if your opponent agrees. Otherwise the matches have to be played in the ingame ESL CSM Ladder. You can join it for free by using this link.
