The 2on2 Winter Cup 2012 was the biggest 2on2 cup we ever had in our CSM section. We got a lot of positive feedback and questions, when there will be the next 2on2 cup here. That's why we decided, that this Summer Cup 2012 will be again for 2on2 teams. All information you can find in this news.
You don't have a team? No problem! Ask a friend or someone in the community, create a team and participate in the cup. We need at least 16 teams to offer the exclusive Summer Cup Award for the winning team. You're also welcome to join our
CSM 2on2 Ladder.

How to play 2on2 Matches
First you should
join the ingame CSM ESL Ladder via
this link for free. It's also allowed to play your matches as PCW, but most members in the ESL prefers the ingame Ladder. Your players won't lose fitness. If the groups and matches are created, you can see all your matches
here. Important for you are the matches of the

Counter-Strike Manager 2on2 Summer Cup 2012 Group Stage.
A 2on2 match consists of
two single 1on1 matches per team. A short example: We have Team 1 with Player A and Player B, and we have Team 2 with Player C and Player D. In a 2on2 Match there are to matches: Player A vs. Player C and Player B vs. Player D. So every player has to play once. You're allowed to agree with your opponent, who plays against whom.
If you can't agree, we have a short rule for this situation: The players with the best international ranking in CSM plays against each other on the first map, the other two players on the second map.
When both matches are played, you can insert the result of the matches. Please enter the same results as in CSM. So if you played 14:10 and your mate 8:16 , you also have to enter 14:10 and 8:16. Results like 1:0, 1:1 or 0:1 are not allowed! Also
please don't forget to upload your matchreports of CSM. If you don't know what a correct screenshot of the matchreport is, please look in our
rules.
Additonal Information
Gameaccount: Your gameaccount in the ESL must be current. The correct gameaccount is your actual loginname in CSM.
Ingame Ladder: You are allowed to play your matches as PCW, if your opponent agrees. Otherwise the matches have to be played in the ingame ESL CSM Ladder. You can join it for free by using this link.
Draw-Rule
Group stage: A draw is a
valid result. Just enter the result, both teams will get one point.
Playoffs: In the playoffs we need a winner, because only one team can reach the next round. If you play a draw (e. g. 17:7 and 7:17 -> 24:24), you need to
play again once with changed opponents.
If there is also a draw or you don't play your rematch fast enough, we decide through the number of bombed targets, defused bombs, planted bombs or, if there is still a draw, the number of frags of a team.
