But there is something more. In the Late-Night Cup 1 we had to assigne many default wins in the first round so we decided to use the ESL Check-In-System.

Check-In-System

Maybe quite a few of you know this system from their home cups, but for all the other ones we explain it:

Phase 1 - Reservation (blue)

In this step you can reserve your slot in the cup, but you have to confirm it.

Phase 2 - Confirm (yellow)

30 minutes before the cup starts you have the option to confirm your reservation, you did in phase 1. If you confirmed the reservation you are registered in this cup.

Phase 3 - Joining (red)

If you didn't get a slot in phase 1 you can join 20 minutes before the cup starts if there are still some free slots in the cup. Attention! For this registration you don't get a confirmation. That means, your are automatically in this cup.

That means you have 30 minutes before the cup starts to confirm your participation. Otherwise your slot will be available for other teams.
