Not quite from dusk til dawn but until late at night only 5 teams fought with pistols only. The signup was a total disaster. 19 teams signed up but only 5 teams confirmed it, so we had to minimize the cup from 16 single elimination to 8 double elimination.

Since we finally warmed up with those Night Cups, here's #3. This time it's pistols only on regular maps.

The Late-Night Cup 2 is over. This was our first cup played in 2on2 mode and I am proud that the Check-In-System works for our section. 12 teams read the news and worked with it. But 10 teams didn't confirm the sign-up which is a real pity. I am confident the if we use the Check-In-System in the next cups all players/teams will know what they have to do.

The Late-Night Cup 1 was a good start, but we want more. At this time we will present you the Late-Night Cup 2. Now we will try the 2on2 mode and hopefully we can make such a good one as the previous one.

The first Late-Night Cup is over and we are surprised how many players found the way into it. In the first round most of the matches have been decided by default wins due to one player not showing up. But from the second round we had lots of exciting matches and the cup was funny. I think this was a very good start to play more cups in our section.

The very successful Late-Night Cup history, shown in the German CS:CZ section and also in the German CS 1.6 section, gives us the idea to try it in our section, too. So today we proudly present you a 1on1 cup to test the response and hopefully we make a good start and we will play a lot more cups in the future.

The German CS:CZ section has already changed their rules and net_graph 0 as well as cl_showerror 0 have set as compulsory player settings. Now the European CS:CZ section follows and we also changed our rules. The values net_graph 0 & cl_showerror 0 are from now on compulsory! Now it's time for you to change your config files.

Quite some time ago we announced the EU CS:CZ summer leagues. Unfortunately we had lots of problems during the summer vacation as some players as well as some admins had no time for this league. Nevertheless we managed to finish the groupstage and now we can proudly announce the EU CS:CZ summer league playoffs.

The Summer surprised us already with some very hot days. Many people are in holidays and the rest that has to stay at home wants some entertainment. All those people signed in for the Summer Leagues and we can now present you the groups and the rules for those Summer Leagues.

The CS:CZ 5on5 League was supposed to be the highest tournament for the whole CS:CZ community. Unfortunately we had to cancel it now. Only a few matches have been played and so this league did not make any sence for us.

Quite some time ago we introduced the International Cup Series (ICS) and as all qualifiers have been played we were discussing how to continue. It took us longer than expected but now we can present you how the ICS will go on. The 16 participating teams will play against each other in a group stage and the best 4 teams among them will join the playoffs.

Unfortunately we did have some problems during the first half of the cup, but we fixed them as soon as possible. Nevertheless we hope you enjoyed the time and had much fun. The International ICS Qualifier is now finished, so we proudly present the qualified teams and wish them good luck for the final tournament.

One and a half year ago the European CS:CZ section was founded and also our rules were written back then. Of course some rules have been added or changed in the meantime. But today we rebuilt nearly all our rules and added a lot of new rules.

Last weekend we announced that the ICS qualifier had to be stopped due to some problems. These problems affected the whole tournament structure. Since then we were searching for the mistakes and now we have finally found them so the cup can go on.

Due to a problem on the cupsite we have to break the Cup. We will finish the Cup on the next weekend.

We are happy to announce that from today the Counter-Strike: Condition Zero 2on2 and 5on5 ladders will have the Auto Challenger available. With the auto challenger you can just sit back and relax while the ESL site searches for an opponent.

The 1on1 ladder is the most popular of the International CS:CZ ladders so it certainly deserves it's own ladder review. The all German top three is being lead by TR1XXA who has an impressive 30 points lead on the second ranked player.

It is the beginning of another month, which means it is time for a ladder review of the CS:CZ 2on2 Ladder. The top three teams are from three different countries with a German team having the honors of leading the ladder.
