Congratulation to 'GNAA-Series' for winning the first season of the year 2013. On Monday the last Division Update of the Spring Season 2013 will happen, because on April 30th 2013 the A-Series will come to an end. On that day the rankings will be archivied, the possible awards will be given out and of course the Summer Season 2013 will start with a new order of maps and possibly also new match dates.

VERSUS is the feature with the most matches in the ESL and as well in CS. Of course it goes without saying that if you play a lot of VERSUS matches there will also be a lot of Vetos. Therefore we announce two major changes to get your Vetos processed faster.

We chose the modus 5on5 MR15 once again, because its the most famous and popular counter-strike dicipline. Do you have any other wishes for modi? For a while now the Counter-Strike Beta was available and since Thursday around 19:45 CET the beta was released as an update. In this news we will explain where they moved the cstrike folder and which settings have changed and of course there will be changelog of the update.

Since VERSUS, the A-Series and the new ESL Series(Germany only) has 'pushed' Counter-Strike 1.6 a bit, we're currently looking for new members for our anti-cheat team.

We will focus more on the new A-Series, VERSUS and Cups, but also on the more active Ladders in the future. In the past we had too many Ladders and now we have to close some of them in order to get the other leagues more active again. In this news we will tell you some stats about the Ladders, which we closed today.

The last 1.6 cup took place around a month or so ago, and thats a situatoin that has to be changed immediately. Next sunday, the 3rd of february, the WekkendNightCup 21 comes up! That means, that there'll be a 5on5 MR15 cup on classic maps like de_dust2. The signup already opened up, so don't hesitate but join the cup. Only three evenings with matches are between you and the presence of your team in the newly formed Premier Division. Also some teams from the Top 20 could be interested in the special ESL Premium Offer running right now to join the Premier Division.

One week ago we announced the A-Series for Counter-Strike 1.6 and today it's time to give you some more details on what you can win and when you can play. You can sign up for any match dates you want and there is no forced match date you need to play, but there is a minimum activity and if you didn't play enough matches until a division update, you will loss some points.
