The Spring Season 2012 is running since the 3rd of January and now it is time to bring a new game mode to VERSUS. After the 5on5 and the 3on3 AWP mode we ask in the forum which mode we could add for Counter-Strike and the results was: 2on2 Quickie. The new and first 'real' VERSUS Season for Counter-Strike has started! The "Spring Season 2012" is running since Tuesday until the 30th of April 2012. And that is why we want to announce the Top 10 of the Warmup Season and give you some other nice stats about the last Season.

We finally carried out a major rule update. In the course of the European rules standardisation we updated our rules which will apply to all ladders, cups, etc. We want to make some of the rules more user friendly, which is why we also accepted your suggestions in some cases. Christmas is approaching so we'll give you some time to get used to the new rules.

Today we'd like to present a new ladder. Many of you asked for a 1on1 knife ladder so here we go. We hope you'll like this new ladder and that there will be lots of exciting matches. National qualifiers all over European have been finished. So we are ready for the three-staged international qualifier system. The international qualification will have three stages. Each country, depending on their past results, got slots for some or all of these rounds, which will be played in bo3 double elimination, except for CS's stage 3, which will switch to bo1. Only 5 out of these 64 will go to Kiev.
