Wire Anti-Cheat is mandatory!
After the tests we ran everything is looking fine and so we decided to go ahead and make Wire Anti-Cheat mandatory in all Crossfire Europe leagues, competitions and tournaments. From now on all matches have to be played with Wire Anti-Cheat, otherwise the player/team will be punished.
First of all we want to thank SG Interactive for their support and help in fixing all known issues with Wire Anti-Cheat. After adding Wire Anti-Cheat to VERSUS and test it in a Nightcup, it is time that every Crossfire Europe player starts checking, if Wire Anti-Cheat is working for him or not, because Wire Anti-Cheat is now mandatory in all leagues, tournaments and competitions we have and will host in the future.
If you cannot use Wire Anti-Cheat, you have to fix the issues before you play, because playing without Anti-Cheat will be punished with three penalty points. Everyone, who is playing with Wire Anti-Cheat, but gets an error won't get any penalty points, but there is the option for the admins to decide to delete the match. If an error occurs in a tournament the other team/player will get a Default Win. Until the 14th of February we will not punish any errors, but from the 15/02/2012 onwards we will give out the normal penalty points for not having a full Anti-Cheat log.
What is ESL Wire Anti-Cheat?ESL Wire Anti-Cheat is the newest generation of Anti-Cheat-technology. ESL Wire Anti-Cheat's drivers can easily find more than 1.000 Ring0- and Ring3-Cheats. However, this is not the end of the story since our new tool is even capable of finding and highlighting suspicious software in addition to the specific detection routines.
Crossfire Europe and ESL Wire Anti-CheatHow can I test it?
We made a small guide about the how to add Crossfire Europe to Wire, so it is working. And we also added some information, so every user, which did not check, if Wire Anti-Cheat is working for him or not, can easily check it now.
Who can I contact, if I got problems with Wire Anti-Cheat?
You can create a support or write your problem in this topic and we will try to help you. Not only admins are helping there, also other users will help you with your problem.
Currently we are trying to build a small FAQ, so if you had a problem and fixed it, write it down for the other users in the forum.
Moss is still mandatoryMOSS (Monitor Overclock status - and Screenshots). This new tool combines the EOS Overclock monitoring with Random Screenshots to provide you with a secured ZIP of match activities, of course ESL Wire usage is still mandatory and handles the anti-cheat part.
You can download it here. It is important that Moss is started before Crossfire Europe, so it can work correctly.
Last but not least, we wish you all good luck and have fun playing Crossfire Europe in the ESL.
