While using Equality the graphic feature Anti Aliasing (AA) need to be turned off in the gamesettings. Since some players still do have AA activated it is neccessary to add a new rule. The use of AA is forbidden starting from 15.01.2010, 01:00 CET. It will be penalized like "10.2. Missing Equality File".

It wasn't properly a Silent Night, the one which just passed by: on the contrary, last evening was featured by intense and funny matches between the players who succeeded on signing into last competition of 2009: Combat Arms TDM 1on1 Christmas Cup! After 5 short playing turns, the Staff is proud to announce the last winner that will be listed into Combat Arms 2009 Hall of Fame and that will definitely be the most remembered once the 2010 will begin!

Combat Arms staff minds to celebrate these holidays, some days before Christmas, with the community, by organizing a special Night Cup! Fall season is ending and the colder Winter, together with the awaited Christmas holidays, are quickly arriving: the end of the windy and rainy season even marks the end of the Combat Arms Elimination PRO 4on4 Opening Cup. As just widely explained in the previous released news, Nexon bans, often not properly clear and strongly demonstrated, are getting more and more. According to this issue and due to the several bans assigned to active ESL players, Combat Arms Admin Team decided to apply a further update to Banned Gameaccount rule. All participating players demonstrated their strong national pride within Groupstage phase and tried to gain one slot for final phase. Only the 8 most skilled teams succeeded on bringing their countries' rosters to Playoffs in order to try and win the final prize, providing to their Nation the most wished Christmas gift: the gold cup as best European team of 2009! Therefore, it's now time, for teams that passed the first step, to participate to Playoffs.

None of us within the community can say, if a ban because of a screenshot is fair or not - at least with most of the screens. It's because of this that, after a wide discussion between European and National squads, Admin Team is now forced to make a small, but effective change into Combat Arms rules concerning Gameaccounts. As practiced from the 11th to 20th centuries in Western societies, a duel is an engagement in combat between two individuals, with matched weapons in accordance with their combat doctrines. The weapons in this case are only the basic rifle, pistol and granade you get from the beginning. No further equipement or modifications are allowed.

Together with the launch of the Elimination PRO Opening Cup, the first try of new rules set, the S&D 4on4 Cup, came to an end. The main feature for this Cup was the use of specific rules, which we named PRO Rules, that the Staff has developed according to community requests and feedbacks. Discussions about this rules set lasted for weeks: different and dissenting opinions were provided by community. Thanks to the tries made with some Cups and the 4on4 PRO Ladder, the several feedbacks provided by players through the forum, Countries Championship's first challenges, Admin Team evaluated all requests and stated the final PRO Rules weapons list.

National Teams' engines are empowering and the competition day by day becomes more fascinating and fought! First Playday ended and, for Combat Arms amateurs that didn't expected any surprise, we clearly evidenced skills coming from not only most important nations like Germany and Poland, but even from newly created teams, like Lithuania and Finland. The Staff remembers that Playday 2 will begin tomorrow, October 23rd, at 21:00 CET.

Rosters are hardly working because the date of this competition's beginning has finally arrived and it's time to officially test all National Team potentials and skills. Who will be the best country of 2009 for Combat Arms section? The path is quite long, the tension at maximum levels, but the teams ready to frag!

Since Nexon constantly updates Weapons' and Items' list, ESL Combat Arms Staff decided to change the way the rules concerning this stuff are listed: as you could have seen, until now, it has been provided a list of forbidden Weapons/Items and Body/Head Equipment. Beginning from tomorrow, Monday, October 12th, rules will change and, as just suggested into PRO Rules, there will be a list of Allowed stuff.

Even the second Cup of this new Night Cups season for Combat Arms section reached its end. Sixteen couples challenged themselves in order to win the gold medal as best Snipers of Combat Arms. Although some ESL site's issues, Cup proceeded slightly and we can finally announce the winners: TeRRoR H34D! Masuj Zabe won the silver medal and third step of the podium sees Faction.Factory 2on2, who beated ESP Snipers 2on2 team within 3rd place final!

The moment finally arrived. European section of ESL satisfied the really numerous requests coming from Combat Arms community and started the first Combat Arms Countries Championship. As announced, the competition will take place from October to December 2009. All teams are invited to read following in order to get informed about the competition.

First PRO Cup experiment on a Team Deathmatch mode is over. Many of the weapons and stuff were forbidden but this made the competition more interesting and fought. Only two teams reached the final challenge and the higher step of the podium has been gained by CEFO.3on3! Silver medal goes to PRO - STAKI team.

Poll opened in order to let community choose what in their opinion were the best Black Market items/gear to be purchased was closed and some options were suggested. Admin Team got in contact with NEXON providing poll's results and a final agreement concerning prizes has been finally taken.

Night Cups' new season began and we can already build the first podium for OMA Mode. Almost 64 slots, some initial no shows, but then we noticed really fought and draw games. Night is over, and Night Cup ended: 4 the finalists, three on the podium, one on the top: SpeeeeD! AaDeHaDe gained an important second place and third step of the podium sees BikeR, who beated Larren aka Sunny within 3rd place final!

Combat Arms Admin Team is proud to announce the best cowboy for the first try of Handguns based competition. All 64 participants showed their value and demonstrated to have skills to the entire Combat Arms community, but the crown as best gunner of OMA mode go into the hands of one player, SpeeeeD! Second step of the podium sees AaDeHaDe and the player Ramire won the bronze medal.

A new season begins and it's finally time to refresh our competitions set by adding new ladders. Admin Team decided to launch S&D 4on4 PRO Ladder and OMA 1on1 Handgun Ladder! The first one is the result of the really numerous requests coming from the community: this ladder, differently from standard ones, will be based on a new Rules set, the PRO Rules. Handgun Ladder is a really funny competition, whose mode was already tested into Wild West Cup and that gathered lots of members that happily participated to it.
