ESL Pro Series Berlin Open
We would like to introduce a new European tournament which will take place right after our BENQ finals of the German Pro Series: The EPS Berlin Open. This invite only tournament is our first step to close the gap between our national Pro Series' and the global Intel Extreme Masters. For now this tournament will feature only StarCraft II and the very first participants will be the top four players of the German Pro Series as well as eight well known European stars.

Berlin Open, first Information

The 12 European participants will battle it out from 3rd until 5th of September to win a share of the total prize money of 10.000 Euro (plus travel support). Be live on site at IFA in Berlin to see all the top class players in action.

Further information about the tournament will be released soon.

The ESL hosts many games, not all of them can be featured at events, not least because of logistical reasons - a 1on1 game requires 1/5th the resources of a team game for the same size tournament and prize money is 5x more valuable ^^
