This season has so far been everything but ordinary. A few teams, including last season's runner-ups Anexis eSports e.V. have been removed from the competition for various reasons. Some of them have decided to quit on their own and some of them were removed for simply not following EMS rules or not showing up to their matches. Anyhow, this does not mean other teams have had it easy.

The game has so far been dominated by a few teams teams. In group B, RAGE.eSports have shown they know what they are doing by strongly winning each and every single match in their group, losing only 1 map in total. That being said, team LowLandLions that have finished third last season, aren't giving competition any break either while apeX.eSports are right in front of them, showing no signs of slowing down any time soon.


Playoffs are scheduled to start on Sunday, June 24th. As in groupstage the date shown on the match page is the last possible match date and unless agreed otherwise by both teams in the protest it is the default match time.

In general, matches should be played each Sunday from now on for the next four weeks. However, minor changes may be enforced due to schedule clash with some big lan events coming up.

As always, each group winner is directly moved to the next round while second and third places are fighting their way through to next round against teams from other groups.
