After twelve weeks of finest gaming, the sixth EPS season comes to the large final! Before the summer comes Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein celebrate the ESL Alps Final.

The third ESL Pro Gamer League (PGL) finals will be held June 4thth until June 14th. The final matches of the offline finals will be held in Changsha, China. The best players of the disciplines Starcraft and Warcraft 3 will play against each other in the Basketball Gym of the Hunan University. The tournament is highly remunerated: 190,000 RMB (about 17,400 Euro) prize money!

Today we announce two changes for the ESL Premium Account. Every ESL Premium Account User can delete guestbook entries from their guestbooks. We are also making the "Buddy System" feature available to all users.

Don't worry, your guestbook entries are still there. Because of a small bug, combined with some performance issues, some of the old entries aren't shown at the moment. They will be back online tomorrow.

Today we would like to present a new section in the ESL. This time it is no new, big and expensive game but a real classic. With the brand new Amiga Games section the games which were the first steps into gaming for a lot of people can now be played here on the ESL. We open the section with Sensible World of Soccer which can be downloaded and played for free.

A match is not only two teams playing against each other - it's also the members of both teams playing. And just like in every kind of sport, it's not the whole team playing. From now on Leader or Orgas are able to set a lineup for each match to show who will attend and has played the match.
