No Go4BF3 Cup in 8on8 mode this month, so we offer you the first Conquest 8on8 Night Cup. Join up with your mates and let's rock with the vehicles! Cup dates is sunday the 24th June 2012.

8on8 Conquest Night Cup #1 - Rules
  • match media: scoreboard screenshot of each round
  • all unlocks allowed besides: IRNV and tactical light as an attachment or with pistols are forbidden
  • MAV drone, spawn beacon and all new Closed Quarters Weapons are _not_ allowed to use
  • map size: small conquest maps
  • GGC Streaming: mandatory
  • Wire Anti-Cheat: Mandatory! You can see the ESL Wire logs in your match sheet.

  • 24/06/12 - 18:30 CET - Check-in Phase/Late Sign up at 18:40 CET
  • 24/06/12 - 19:00 CET - Grand Bazaar
  • 24/06/12 - 20:00 CET - Seine Crossing
  • 24/06/12 - 21:00 CET - Kharg Island
  • 24/06/12 - 22:00 CET - Tehran Highway

As far as our experience in the first 4 month of Go3BF3 have shown.. no EPS team will sign up in any go4bf3 cup, no matter which day ;) Those teams prefer to have "pcws" when they dont have to play EPS, and prefer to play their EPS map in pcws than the different Go4BF3 maps on one/two evenings.

The only time EPS Teams joined the Go4BF3, was when the EPS had no group stage matches left or the teams already dropped out of the Playoff Phase.

So please don't overreact like that again. We had this issue before we moved the go4bf3 which was not really helpful for 8on8 Go4BF3.

Nightcup "mode" or how ever you call it doesnt fit to 8on8, Its really ahrd to get 8-12 ppl online whole evening. Nordicleague/Up-North has perfect system for 8v8 secene with divisions and stuff, thats why they had over 35 active NORDIC ONLY clans. People want to set dates and time when they wanna play matches. And there was not money involved.

Anyways making the 8on8 nightcup same day than EPS doesnt help to get more teams. Now this cup have like 4-8 teams and scene looks dead, which isnt correct.

@CoCi: The problem is that there are not much activ 8v8 teams left, the few which would sign up are mostly in Germany. This time its also not the same situation like last season, cause the most maps are played two times the week and every team already trained the maps enough, so there is no point in make fully new tactics etc..

The time would be there and as u can see, 2 out of 6 teams which signd up yet are EPS teams which won't/can't play there.

Suggestion, delete every ladders/cups that arent 8v8 and then lets all play 8v8 :D

EPS is sponsored by EA Germany, so there won't be an EU tournament. The only good thing would be an EMS and an EMS won't be comming with that activity and no BR or SPEC.

For good activity admins must make few leagues for teams with different skill. For example: Free league, Middle, High (Pro) or 2 leagues (1st and 2nd).
