Multiplay announcing the BF3 Cup at Insomnia46, I have copied over the news post here for you to read  Hope to see you there!i46 - BF3 Tournament – Now Recruiting Teams! Once again our BF3 6v6 tournament returns! Come and bring 5 squaddies with you and compete in our LAN tournament at Insomnia46, on Multiplay servers! More details are to be revealed in the coming weeks, including whether we may be using the new Close Quarters expansion coming out in June. The prize fund will scale depending on the number of teams signing up, but the absolute minimum prize pool stands at £1,000 currently. Don’t wait around – get 20% off the full price ticket if you book before 6pm on June 6th – just £76.60! Head over to the tickets page, and grab your BYOC ticket and then head over to the BF3 tournament homepage to find out how to sign up. You need at least 6 players in a team to take part, and signups should be completed before Midnight on Monday 20th August to guarantee your place in the tournament. If you do not quite have 6 people – head over to our forums and grab some more players! We will make sure you get plenty of games with the tournament format, by keeping the initial groups quite large. | *edit* if you don't switch it to 5v5 you will be stuck with 8-9 teams again, which is a fail ofcourse. So what you should do is make it 5v5 and make it Close quarters only with maybe the new gamemode?(Might even be viable for 4v4). [ quote ]

| You're competing with a Hungarian LAN that is on the same weekend. Almost all of the European teams are going to it because A) It is the exact same format that they play everyday in online competition (5v5) and, B) It has more prize money + hardware. Depending on if the DLC is good, you may get a few more signups if you make the tournament CQC, but this will probably be purely British teams because of the above. [ quote ]
