UPDATE: ESL Wintercup 2009 Finals & 3on3 Cup
The group stage for this year's Wintercup is over and next week, we are going to start the finals. The ESL team is very pleased with the overall performance of the cup so far that we will also announce further cups in the near future. However, this news mainly aims to tell the finals participants what to do.
First of all, the map list will be the same. Here's a list:
- Camp Gibralta (16)
- Cerbere Landing (16)
- Fall of Berlin (16)
- Tunis Harbour (16)
- Verdun (16)

Each team will be able to pick a map which they want to play in a match. Furthermore, we will not give you a map limit, so for example, you can choose Camp Gibralta for every match that you play if you want to.
So, prepare for the finals which will start on March 16th.

However, this is not the only news we are announcing. We promised you that we do not ignore requests by the community and are announcing a 3on3 Cup that will happen in the near future.

***UPDATE***
If you are second in your group and thought you are out, well, it is your lucky day. After a short delay, we decided that the first and the second place in a group will make it into the finals.
