Admins team understand there have been a lot of concerns with people just wanting to play the game they love - the standard version of Battlefield 2, and I can understand that. Please realise, however, that playing vanilla without the locked configs leaves everyone open to using the nametag tweak, sound tweaks etc and frankly it would just be a waste of everyone's time.

Please read the following carefully as it will determine the outcome of the way in which we use the mod:

- Teams will have the opportunity to trial the mod until Friday 3rd September of this week at the latest.

- Unless we get any serious and argued objections, the RushZone mod will be used this tournament. The way in which it will be used, is one of the following two ways:

OPTION 1:

RushZone MOD with locked usersettings.con files and MD5 checks, shoutcasting features and the adjusted player mesh/hitbox fix. All other settings will be vanilla style.

OR

OPTION 2:

RushZone MOD with locked usersettings.con files and MD5 checks, shoutcasting features and the adjusted player mesh/hitbox fix AND weapon fixes, sounds, game speed, prone fix, 2 grenades, 2 medic packs etc - which of these will be decided by players.

By Thursday, please can every team captain have submitted a ticket with their vote in the following format (obviously, consult with your team members before making the vote):

Team France are voting for - OPTION [1/2] (include reasons with option 2)

OPTION 2: Team France think the mod should include the 1.2 prone and the 10% game speed. NOTHING ELSE.

- Depending on the vote, Stoner and his team will have the weekend to fix up the changes agreed upon. When this is done, teams will have an additional week to practice on either the improved mod, or on vanilla before we kick off.
