A nice cup, even if all slots wasnt filled up, most teams were eager to fight and did it until end of evening. At the end of games "Team eXtirpate" flaged for first step, faster than "RegMonsters are back" while "Team DiaR" took down their opponent for the last podium slot.

This NightCup will introduce the new format for Team Infantry ladder, the 5on5 ready to replace the 4on4 current lader, and it will be the first BF2 public event with the mandatory use of Wire Anti-cheat.

More than 2 months are past, since the beginning of this cup, from 16 nations competing to be the 2010 BattleField 2 Nation on ESL, and to remain for ever in the game history : Poland can say we did it!

When a pilot meets a gunner: there is no baby, just a nice helicopter fight. This game has been overflown by the german crew Pornoschrauber! who flamed down The russian drunken Flyers. WP-Boys get the 3rd podium step.

And the final will show a fight beetween two Baltic's countries: Poland and Finland. Poland with a single defeat in groupstage made a perfect run in play-offs. While Finland after loosing in groupstage against UK , kicked them out to reach the grand finale. Now Finland get the opportunity of a revenge against Poland who send them in loser bracket during this play-off. But admin's team got a little surprise for the finale : Wire Anticheat will play the game too ... Good luck to both team and have fun !!

No Conquest CC this year? Therefore we bring you up our Nightcup Series with the 5th Cup in 8on8 Conquest Mode on the 26th september, Signs Ups are open until the 25th september!

After many weeks of wise, constructive debate and discussion on the ESL forums and many hours put in by Stoner and his team at RushZone, we must announce that we will not be using the RushZone modification for this year's Country Championship, so you don't need to worry about setting up your servers last minute for tomorrow's matches.

The groupstage is now online, we have 16 national teams ready to fight for their spot in the national BF2 ranking. However, in the end of this stage, only 8 teams will remain to place themselves among the top. This means the best two teams of each group will advance towards the grand playoffs!

Due to the fact there has been an overwhelming request for a longer period to trial the mod, we will be postponing the start of the tournament for a week to <b>Sunday 12th September</b> in order to give people 1) longer to trial the mod and offer feedback and 2) longer to practice for the cup start.
