Become an eSports Software Developer
| |||
![]() Are you a software developer? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work in the gaming and eSports industry? Here's your chance. Turtle Entertainment, the company behind ESL, is looking to expand its software development team. Be at the frontline of developing a heavily tech-based global sport, together with us.
Our vision for ESL
Our goal is to create the best competitive multiplayer experience possible. We strive to create services that enrich current and future online games, building a fun environment that makes gaming fair, balanced and rewarding. Be at the frontline of developing a heavily tech-based global sport, together with us. The workplace We are not just any kind of company. We live and breathe eSports every day, and we only accept applicants that do likewise. Our software development is based on agile methods, mainly Scrum, so one of our most important requirements is that you fit in and work well within the team. Creating high-quality software is our core principle. We maintain a relaxed and fun workplace with a lot of out of office activities. Requirements Most importantly first: You will be working full-time out of our headquarters in Cologne, Germany. Other than that, we do not believe in strict patterns. In our official job advert you will find several more soft factors. The more you fit the description the better. Bringing further skills to the table not mentioned in the document might also help. I'm interested. Tell me more! Alright, then. You will find a lot of specific information about our projects, technology and work process in the official job advert. What's next? Due to our heavy workload around the large upcoming gamescom trade fair, official responses could be delayed until mid to late August. We plan to setup a small meet & greet at gamescom, so you can get a better impression of how we are like in person and what else we do apart from software development and online activities. There will be two meetings, on Saturday and Sunday. Both 2pm. For the exact location, and if you have any questions, please e-mail me directly at dh (at) turtle-entertainment.com. We are looking forward to your questions, feedback and applications, both in the comments and by e-mail.
