Movie Contest

To play matches all the time is boring? You want to have other events like cups or MMC's? You need some alternation? You just love to make movies of Battlefront 2? Than this is the right challenge for you!

Every ESL user can participate and make a movie. You think you can make good movies and the other players would like your work? Than just start and send us your movie to show us, that you are the best movie maker in SWBF2.

The movie contest will run from 1st march until 30th april. So you should have enough time to work on your movies.


Specifications:

		the ESL logo has to be added in the movie made by "ESL NICK" must be included in the movie direct reference to SWBF2 FRAGS (no mods or any other kind of movies) no old movie / the movie has to be created for the contest min. length 03:00 min HIGH QUALITY

How to participate:

Just send us an email at following email adress: battlefront2@staff.esl.eu

Following thing have to be included:
a link the own ESL profile
a movie description
a link to the movie (uploaded on any filehoster)


How the movies will be voted:

Preselection:
The admins will look at all movies and choose the 10 best ones.

Endselection:
A poll will be created, so that the community will decide which of these 10 movies is the best one.


Prices:

Official ESL Community Meeting

On saturday (6th march) at 7 pm (UTC+1) (19:00 german time) there will be an official ESL community meeting. A few admins will be there and we are hoping, that a few users will join the meeting too. This meeting will take place on the official ESL mumble server. So please make sure, that mumble has been installed and that your voice settings are correct.

Important: You need at last Mumble 1.2 to join the server.

We will talk about different topics. Some topics we will announce during the meeting, other topics can be added from the community. But it won't be talked about the BO3 system. This topic was already discussed in the forum, in xfire, in tickets and so on. So it won't be discussed in this meeting.

If someone should start flaming of other annoying stuff, he will be kicked. If he should rejoin and continue, he will be banned.

If you have any topics (excepting BO3 system) you would like to talk about, please post them as a comment in this news.

As mentioned above, the meeting will take place in MUMBLE not TS.

The meeting will be moved to 19:30 on the Mumble Server.

Space Cup

The next cup that will be started will be a space cup. Maybe you remember, that we told you in another news in the end of december, that we will try to continue the space ladder in periodic space cups.

In january/february there was a lot of work because of the ladders restarts. Now we are ready to start the first space cup and we are hoping, that all space teams will enter their spaceships again to join the battle.

The cup will start in the middle of march. More details will be announced in our next news.
