In the last weeks there was a lot of flaming, because some players don't liked some of our decisions. But in fact these decisions had to be made. In this news we want to present you some new stuff that you hopefully will enjoy. Just forget the flaming of the last weeks and just enjoy the future of SWBF2. We are planning some great things for 2010.

On 27th january we restarted all SWBF2 ladders, changed the ladder system into BO3, changed the mappools and added some new rules. Since ladder restart we worked together with the player council on some updates. Now we want to present you these updates. We know, that some players still don't accepting the new BO3 system. Now we heared something about a teamspeak meeting, that should run tomorrow evening. As far as we know, the community want to make a decision for the ESL ladders. It would be helpful, if you would read the informations at the bottom of this news.

As all of you should know, all SWBF2 ladders were restarted on monday. The old ladders, matches and so on have been deleted and new ladders have been created. The most of you already joined the new ladders and so we tried to finish the rules and mappools as soon as possible.

Maybe some of you remember, that there was a vote about ladder restarts nearly 1 month ago. After this vote was finished we discussed this topic in the new SWBF2 player council and as this was finished, the admins made a decision. If you want to get more details, just follow this news.

We celebrated the first three advents through big and instering cups. On 4th advent we will continue with our advent cup series. In fact we kept our biggest cup for the ending. Now the 4th advent is comming and so we are announcing the biggest cup that you have ever seen!

Do you still remember the 1st advent cup? It was our first try to transfer the aim map modus from CS / CSS into SWBF2. On 3rd advent you will be able to test this modus again. This time you will test it in a lot of exciting 2on2 matches. On 3rd advent we will start our 2on2 Aim Map Cup.

A lot of players have been warned in the last days, because they entered default wins without an admin. We announced, that it is forbidden to enter default wins yourself in july. Since july this rule is active, but in the last weeks more and more players are entering default wins without an admin again.

The first advent is over and so we are going to announce the second advent cup. But of course we have a lot more informations for you. For example the New Years Cup is ready to sign up. And we finished the work on our hall of fame.

We announced a big cup series for every advent one week ago. Now there are only 2 days left until the first Advent Cup will start. In this news we will give you some more informations about the 1st Advent Cup, the contestants and the maps. This time we will celebrate the advent in ESL style!

Advent is coming. And this time even the ESL will have some gifts for you. On every advent we will start one advent cup. So you will be able to play up to four cups until christmas. And these cups will be something special, so don't miss the chance to celebrate the advent in ESL style!

In the last time we worked hard to transfer our rules into the new rule system of the ESL. Now the rules are structured in a better way, easier to understand and additionally they looks much better. In the next step we want to optimize all Battlefront 2 rules to upgrade all ladders.

We announced a really big and amazing class cup series and nearly all of you told us that this cup series is a very great thing. We planned to start with a 16 player cup, but because so much player joined we had to increase the player limit to 32 players first and than to 64 players. So we thougt this cup would become epic.

On 01/11/2009 he will leave this Admin Squad. He appeal once more to give all think for a future of this game, help to save this game..

This cup will be bigger than everyting before. Because of so many players who wanted to join this cup we increased the maximum player limit (16 players) to 64 players. You wanted to play in a big cup? Now you can play in a giant cup! 126 matches played in 1 month between 64 contestants. But at the end only one player can win!

A few days ago we presented you our great "Beat the Admin" event. An event that is far more than just a match between two opponents. It's the chance for one of you - the community - to take revenche for all the PP's you deserved in the past few years!

All 16 Change-Cup teams made a good job. A lot of exciting matches took place in this Cup. We already wrote a news to our new gameaccount rule, but a lot of players are protesting against it. In fact we maybe verbalised our intention and our reasons for changing the ip screenshot rule to a gameaccount rule in a bad way. So we will try to to clarify a few things in this news.

The last SWBF2 cup, our Universe Cup, was finished one month ago. So it's time for a new cup, isn't it? We will start a small 3on3+ Cup next wednesday. This cup will run until 02.08. and will be our last IP screenshot cup. In the future gameaccounts will be used as you can read in our last news.

Another big rule change will come. We will abolish our IP screenshot rule and our "I'm in" comment rule. These rules will be replace by a new gameaccount rule. All important informations about this rule will be found in this news. So please read this news carefully.
