New Admins , Cups , New Rules and more

Dear SWBF Community,
we are truely in a news-writing mood! There are some great new information for all of you and we bet you like most of them. But read yourself and don't forget to write your oppinion in the comments as we are gladly to hear it. Admin staff changesWe want to present two new admins in our staff team: Givil which is also active in SWBF2 and Malicious. Advent cup The Advent cup is a 1on1 cup that is structed very similar to the SWBF2 Classcups and will be played every Advent except of the first one. Every cup will be played with different classes for example only sniper or only rocket. 2on2 cup Since a lot of people were asking for a 2on2 Ladder we are going to organize at least a 2on2 cup. The cup will start at the 27 of november. Further informations about rules and sign ups will be announced in another news Match between teammatesWe already told you that in the new 5on5+ ladder you have the opportunity to challenge and play against your own clanmates (i.e. alpha vs beta). But to limit this a bit, only every 4th match of you can be played vs teammates. Fundamentel rule change in the 1on1 LadderTo increase the activity of the 1on1 ladder we decided to let you play on self hosted servers.This can only be done if both sides agree. In addition to that a server report must be made if you play on a selfhosted server. Example : --------------------------------- Prematchreport of the server host: We play on my selfhosted server --------------------------------- Prematchreport of the opponent: I agree --------------------------------- Player namesWe are also thinking about a rule that limits your ingame nick to 14 keys. We decided this because a lot of player names were not recognizable on the IP screens.
