What is a Country Championship?

A Country Championship is a tournament for national teams. National teams are made up of the best players from each country. Country Championships may be held once a year.

Application as Captain and how to pick Nationalteams

If you are interested to become the Captain of the official Nationalteam of your Country, please send a private message to Wolf. After that, you will be invited to special forum, where you will be able to open a topic with your application. You should explain why you think that you are the best choice for the team manager/captain position, and if you have the support of your country in your back. Afterwards the Electronic Sports League will decide who is going to be the manager/captain of each country.

Most important rule for a Nationalteam

You are allowed to have maximum four players from the same Clan/Team in the Nationalteam. Also only three of the four players from the same Clan/Team are allowed to take part in Nationmatch at the same time. A National-Team can have a maximum amount of 10 players. In the first playweek we will lock all rosters, so you are not allowed to change the current player-lineup in the team. So please try to make sure to get the 10 best and most active players of your country from several Clans/Teams.
If a team does not follow this rules, we will disqualify the Nation. This kind of tournament is something special for Alliance of Valiant Arms, so we hope that everything goes with the flow.

Here we come to the most important question. When does it start? When are the playweeks and when is the tournament finished? Here is the date for the first playweek:

The last day of each week is the last possible playday and all matches have to be played by then!

Tournament System

The European Country Championship will have 16 Nationalteams, where four Nations will build one group. The top two teams of each group will advance to the Quarterfinal.
We will host the Playoff Stage in a single elimination Modus. So there won’t be a losers bracket.

After we have all 16 Nationalteams ready, we will announce them and also some more details about the Tournament.

The three winning teams will receive a special ESL award, premium pizes. InGame prizes due to merge, will be announced leater.
