Sad but true... the day has come that we plugged out the plug of the AAO section. Together we have reached a lot, had a lot of fun and memorial moments! A game which kicked off in 2002, grew during the years, joined the ESL in 2007, reached their highness with the ESL Major Series and two European LANs, suffered from the release of AA3 in 2009 and rests in peace at the end of 2011 after developers disabled the authentication servers.

The period for team captains to apply is reaching its end. Sad but true... we only have captains for 7 countries. Lets hope they can field a roster. Below you can find the chosen captains, if you do not see your country in the list! Feel free to still send your application!

After a successful first draft, we decided straight away to run a new draft! Are you free on Monday 28/11, then join our teamspeak3 at 19:30 and take part! In our first draft "Team5" took the upper hand. Are you part of the winning team this time?

The end of the year is near which means it is time to start our Country Championship preparation again! What does it mean? As we need captains who want to represent their country, they need to send a ticket to our Admin squad. If you want to have your country in, then do not hesitate to send an apply! Better a lot of applies, then no applies!

Has it been a while you haven't played AAO? Do you miss the good old times? You are still active, but don't have a team to play competitive any more? Then this is your moment! AAO Draft is back on Monday 14 November, mixed teams will play each other with only one goal: winning as much attacking rounds as possible within a time constrain of 8 minutes. The AAO section is searching for one to two motivated and active AAO players. As you are aware of the current AAO scene, perseverance is a must! If you are interested in becoming and Admin and helping out your favourite section, do not hesitate to send your application.

After a poor Summer League, we hope you are all back for some new seasonal action. Next week Monday we will kick off with our Autumn League! This time the seasonal league will not feature the 4on4 format, but the 2on2 format. Only difference now is that a team can consist out of 3 members instead of the usual 2 members.

The ESL AAO is searching for two new Anti-Cheat Admins who could help out the AAO Anti-Cheat Workgroup. Those AC Admins will not do any regular Admin work and will stay anonymous for the community. If you think you are ready for this, then read this announcement carefully. Not responding to the asked questions will lead to a rejection straight away!

The Sun is shining, the weather is sweet, yeah make you wanna move in to this Summer League. To the rescue, here I am Want you to know, yall, can you understand? Do you have what it takes? Then do not hesitate to participate!!!

The second seasonal league of the year has come to an end! 16 teams participated and two came out as the strongest, one in the Pro, the other in the Amateur division! Team DEVGRU faced CEFO and won in overtime while the Amateur league Arcani crowed themselves winner in the Amateur League after winning from HuSaRia.

To increase activity again in the AAO section we will run weekly Night Cups. The first Night Cup will kick off this Tuesday! As spots are limited to 8 teams, it is designated to check in fast! First come, first serve will be used! So, do not hesitate to sign up!!! Who knows... maybe you come out victorious!

As announced before, all eyes are focused on the next upcoming event! This time AAO-daily will be in the spotlight and attract all attention of the AAO gamers. The league is planned to start on Sunday 12 June and will consist out of a premiership or a groupstage followed by playoffs. More info concerning this will be released after the sign ups closed.

The AAO Countries Championship has come to an end. Poland and The Netherlands were both in the running to crown themselves as best country of 2011. Last year they faced each other in the loser bracket, back then The Netherlands took the upperhand, this times it was different... Poland came out as the strongest and avoided The Nehterlands of their second title in a row.

The regular groupstage has come to an end. Eight teams qualified for the playoffs and are still in the running to get a shot on the prizes! The 4 Pro teams will fight for the seasonal award and one month Premium. The 4 Amateur teams will fight for a top 2 spot and earn one month Premium! One match consists of a Best of Three with maps being decided through map elimination.

This year’s country championship is coming to an end. A few months ago the country championship started with a total 13 teams fighting for the honour to call themselves the best country. At least for the upcoming year.

On Thursday 12 May we will run a Carriable Objective Fun Cup. This means not only skills will lead you to victory, but also luck has to be on your side! A maplist of 5 maps has been configured, depending on sign ups we will decide the way of maps being played. This can be through Map Elimination or by fixed maps.

The Winter Cup has come to an end... It's Spring time now! Our Spring League will slightly differ from our previous seasonal league! This time three divisions will be made according to skill level! The winner of each division gets one month Premium. The distribution of the Seasonal Award will be held in a special cup, more info about it soon!

DuoGamerz consists of 4 Qualifications rounds in which the 4 best teams qualify for the Final Bracket. Each Qualification round will have two maps which should be mastered to advance!

At the end of 2010 we kicked off with two tournaments. One was the famous Map Series, this time played on Tunnel and the other was Back to the 90s in which oldschool maps were the maps to play! After some very exciting matches, both winners are known!

The second Countries Championship will kick off this Sunday! The groups have been made and the countries have been seeded. Only the important data is missing. Thirteen countries signed up to fight for only one title, being the best country in AAO! Who will take it, who will it be? It will be known soon!

Knights finally achieved what they worked for! After six years of hard practising, shouting at each other, staying home from going out, ... They finally can crown themselves as the best team of AAO! discodance had to be dupe of it. In their 3rd final of the AAO EMS Seasons they had to give their title away to a strong performing Knights of the Round Table.

The end of the ESL Major Series is near! Tonight, the two best teams of 2010 face each other to determine the final winner of EMS VII. Will the European team "Knights" pull at the longest end or will the Polish team "discodance" once more win the EMS. Everything can be followed LIVE on RAGE TV!!! So make sure you cancel all your plans, buy some chips and sit down relaxed in your game chair to enjoy the most exiting final of the EMS AAO.

Approximately one month ago we announced our upcoming Country Championship! Today, we can announce the captains for each participating country. Countries who aren't in the list, but still want to participate can make a support ticket to apply.

For those who have had enough from all the turkey, making snowmans and the snowball fights, we proudly present our annual X-mas Cup! This year our X-mas Cup will take place on the 26th of December and as always... the top3 gets a place in our Hall of Fame!

The ESL Major Series season VII is coming to an end. On Tuesday the two best teams of AAO will battle it out for the euros. The Knights of the Round Table comes from the LB and has to win twice Best of Three to win the EMS. Will they step up and surprise everyone or will discodance just destroy them? Last Sunday the Loser Bracket final took place between Knights and MaxFloPlay. Both teams had one goal, winning and reaching the Grand Final! The maps were Urban Assault and Mout McKenna. Knights seemed to be stronger than MaxFloPlay on both maps and took the spot in the Grand Final.
