Today's matches will be fought between Turkey and Slovakia (Group D) and Poland and Hungary (Group B). The match of group B will have no effect on the final rankings of the group. Both teams have 0 points and none can reach the required 6 points to qualify for the playoffs.

The match between Turkey and Slovakia however is more interesting. Though Turkey can no longer qualify for the playoffs, Serbia and Montenegro can still throw Slovakia out, if they win their match over Bulgaria (this match is wildcarded and will be played at a later time). Slovakia needs a win to ensure their participation in the playoffs.

From group D, Greece and Czech have already qualified. The match outstanding in this group will be taken out between these two teams.
