France wins CS:Source match against Belgium

With France winning the third and final match of this day the ASUS ENC event at Gamers Assembly in Poitiers is over. We saw three exciting games followed by hundreds of visitors live at the Futuroscope. On de_inferno and de_nuke Belgium was only able to win seven rounds each. So again congratulations to the French players, who performed very well in front of their audience.

We'd like to thank all visitors at the Gamers Assembly and ESL TV. Also we have to thank ASUS for making this year's European Nations Championship possible. We will see you again sooner than you might expect.

That's the French National Team?

CS1.6 is over, CS:Source lies ahead

After two exciting maps Counter-Strike 1.6 is done at the first ASUS ENC event in 2010. The French audience saw an extremely close game with the best players from France. Geno, SIXER, Yoshoow, instanz and loduN managed to win the game, but that doesn't mean all of them will be a part of Team France CS1.6. The teamcaptain of France will review the HLTV demo and discuss the perfomance of all ten players to build the most promising team, which will compete with the best nations of Europe.

Team France A vs. Team France B

The French cream of the crop from oXmoze, Millenium, aAa and Burning will start to battle for five available spots in the French ASUS ENC National Team in this very moment. A best of three Counter-Strike 1.6 match will determine the five most amazing players of the French country. First map will be de_inferno followed by de_nuke and de_dust2 if needed.

Two more games to come

The third map sees again France as winning team. They were in favour during the whole map. But only a few minutes before the dm7 ended, Austria started an impressive comeback and collected the last Quad Damage. Linkje and Co made a great job hiding from the Austrians and secured their victory. Congratulations!

France 157:201 Austria

Since Austria just won the second map with almost 50 frags difference to France, a third and final map will be played to determine the winner of the Quake Live match. And this map will be dm7.

France wins dm6

France 201:171 Austria

The first map of the ASUS ENC show match took place on dm6, loved and hated by the Quake community for years. We saw 20 minutes full of Quake Live TDM action. France was able to collect the most important item: the Quad Damage almost every time. This was one reason why the four French players gathered slightly more frags that their opponents, although Austria showed some impressive kills. Once noctis was even able to get ovations from the unexceptional French audience, when he fragged ten opponents in a row with some crazy Rail shots. The second map, dm20, is already live. Maybe we will see a comeback by the Austrians.

Quake Live will start any minute now

Problems fixed, go go

Quake Live is running fluently and all players from France and Austria are satisfied with their settings. So we are ready to start the first match of the ASUS ENC event at the Gamers Assembly. The best Quake Live players of France and Austria will face each other in a TDM 4on4 match featuring famous players such as noctis, l1nkin and of course strenx.

We're on it

The Quake Live show match was supposed to be live 15 minutes ago. Since we are causing some heavy problems with the internet connection at the Gamers Assembly we aren't able to run the Quake Live match yet. Our IT guys as well as the Gamers Assembly's IT crew is currently working on it to fix the problems as soon as possible.
