Unfortunately the Swedish Counter-Strike: Source team also had to be removed from the European Nations Championship 2008. The team is not able to play their two remaining matches before the deadline. Thus they can neither finish the Main Round nor can participate in the Finals, obviously. Sweden is the fourth CS:S team that leaves ENC 2008 prematurely.

As the Netherlands did not show up to their match on Monday, 30th of June, their penalty point level disallows the further participance in ENC 2008. The Dutch CS 1.6 squad is therefore kicked from the tournament. Former penalty points were given last week because a Wildcard was drawn shortly before the actual match began.
