Female Cups

In irregular time intervals we plan Cups for you to give you the opportunity to compete with your opponents in 1on1 or team mode. All Cups will be announce in a news and can be found under/female/cups/. The prevailing admittance requirements can differ from Cup to Cup and are visible further down.

Who is allowed to play?

In principle, the Female Gaming Section is meant for female Players, exceptions are Cups like, for example, the Ladies Choice Cup. Female Players with residence in a Country that is part of Europe are allowed to participate in the Cups.

How can you contact us?

For reasons of time you have to use everytime IRC to contact us during a Cup.

How can I sign up and how does the selection of the participants work?

Generally, the sign Up can be done by the registration form that is announced in the news. Concerning special Cups it can occure that the sign up is only possible with supportticket. The sign up does not function according to the First come - first serve principle, the participants are decided on coincidende. Very often the participants are drawn just after the end of the sign up phase, then they appear under the point "Participants" of the corresponding cup. This procedure can take a while so please be patient.

Demo request

Demos can be requested via the 'Request match media (demos/replays)' function within 30 minutes after the encounter and have to be fulfilled within 48 hours.

ESL Aequitas

The use of ESL Aequitas is obligated for every cupmatch! The created Aequitas Files have to be uploaded independently and without a request within 48 hours after the end of the match on the ESL webpage. Missing Aequitas Files will be punished with Penalty Points and a disqualification.

Why demos and Aequitas-Files don't have to be uploaded immediateley?

The time limit to upload demos and aequitas files is the same as in the normal ladder. A reduced upload time limit ("immediately after the match") is not appropriate because it delays the progress of the cup and because a protest during the cup is not possible. Problems like cheat suspicions, manipulated aequitas files, wrong settings cannot be solved during the cup, thats why an immediate upload of the files has no advantages.

Both teams don't possess a server!

Unfortunately, the ESL cannot provide a gameserver, so the team has to borrow a gameserver for the cup, either from friends, free hosters or sometimes you can find somebody in #esl.female who can help you. Known free hosters are: http://www.zoxxe.eu/ http://serverleih.de/ http://www.cmax.gg/

How long I have to wait when my opponent doesn´t show up?

In Female Cup Matches you have to wait at least 10 Minutes for your opponent. If your opponent does not respond in this time limit you can apply for a Default Win in IRC #esl.female. This arrangement is especially used for the first cup round. If the matches are delayed not culpably the admin can make individual decisions.

To remove a player/a team from a Cup

To remove a player from the tournament you have to wait until the cup is archived. This occures normally after 1 month. If there exist important reasons the concerned player/team can open a Support and ask for a remove from the cup.
