Der ESL Pro Series Award wird seit Saison Nummer drei vergeben. Zuerst nur im Spiel Counter-Strike und den Kategorien Most Valuable Player (MVP) und Rookie of the Season. In der nächsten Saison wurde das erste mal der Most Improved Player (MIP) gekürt. Zum ersten Mal wurde der Manager der Saison in der siebten Saison gekürt. Ebenfalls neu seit der siebten Saison ist der ESL Pro Series Award im Bereich FIFA. Vergeben wird der Award von einer Fachjury bestehend aus Journalisten und Turtle Entertainment Mitarbeitern. Der EPS Award sucht deutschlandweit seinesgleichen und ist national die höchste Ehre für einen Spieler.
