The Party CupUp for some gaming this evening? Then you are at the right place here! Yesterday we announced this cup and people signed up within minutes after the news post got online. So here is the update! The cup For those who didn't read the news yesterday, this evening ESL will host a Warcraft III TFT cup! We'll start this evening at 19.30 o'clock on Battle.net, northrend, in channel ESL.BLX. Everyone who signed up will play a best of 3 match against their opponents in a single elimination! The rules are simple: - Battle.net is the meeting place, if both players wish to use Garena, that is fine. - The maps are: .Echo Island .Ancient Island 2 .Terenas Stand .Turtle Rock .Twistead Meadow - In order to decide which maps is player, each player removes one map. The honor to remove the first map is to the best seeded player. The lesser seeded player may pick the first map to play. A full overview of the rules can be found here, but if you still have questions, then please contact us! You can still sign up at this very moment! No premium account is required and penalty points are taken out of account! The winner of the cup will get a free ticket to The Party 8 in Eindhoven! For more information about The Party, please visit their website. So who is playing? Yesterday the sign up opened. We already have some contestants signed up, here is an overview! The players so far! A name we have not seen a while on ESL, but if you are know with the zotac cups you might have seen him popping by as an admin there. Simple guess: this player didn't have enough of the Dutch scene yet. Just like An1ma this one was attending at the NK gaming last year. Even though we don't seem to see a lot of Armin, you might find more about him at replayers! If you do not wish to play along in this cup, the simple fact that this player can face armin during the cup might make it worth to come and observe the games. Perhaps somewhat inactive, but still one of the best human players the Benelux has to offer The first non Dutch player to sign up. Which isn't a total surprise as this one is, probably by far, the most active name we see from Belgium! This one personally prove that being drunk doesn't necessarily mean you can not play anywhere near good anymore. So well.. have fun! The youngest one out the list, but surely not the one you want to underestimate. If I'd have to say which player improved most last year; its so obviously this one, so much, its almost scary. A player we see from time to time on ESL playing in some cups. Weirdly enough, I recall him showing up at LAN events as well! Surprise! We all know LANs can actually improve skill at a high rate, so lets see what for skills he has this evening. Last player that signed up, but probably one of the best as well! I always tend to say that this player is a fast upcoming player in the pro-scene, but my guess that would be out dated information. Last year he was 2nd at the NK gaming, meaning he lost his #1 title which he won the year before that. With some experience directly out of Korea, his death knight's coils might be more powerful then you expect! So far all players we have seen before. But even if you have no experience in WC3, or at ESL, you can still get your name in the list and sign up for this cup! So no plans for this evening? Want a free ticket to TP? Want to improve you gaming skill without hackers in the game? Or just some fun matches today? Come and join the party!
